Okay, okay, I know I said I was going to start from the 4th but I've been ill. Had a sickness bug for 3 days and so let a lone buying posh lunch, I've not eaten since Sunday! I'm back at work today and didn't have anything in for packed lunches as I've not been shopping so 'had' to buy dinner today.

    Beanburger, salad and ahem....jam roly poly n custard :D £2.47 :(

Sorry to hear you've been feeling rough. Yum re the jam roly poly n custard. So, back on the straight and narrow tomorrow then? (Isn't it chip day tomorrow? )

I've been good and not spent anything again all week but am finding it really hard at the moment and know if I give in to temptation once, I'll go straight back into my old habits. No bread in the house again but work provide snacks tomorrow so no need to worry about taking anything.

Has anyone lost any weight by making their own lunch? I haven't but that's because I'm a pig. ;)

I'm not gaining weight but getting really bloated (well at least that was a couple of weeks ago when i was actually 'doing' my own lunches :o ), I've never eaten so much bread. Really need to think up summat else for lunches. I tried pasta salad, which I loved but DS didn't and we have to have the same to save money so that's a no-no.

So, today will be the last of my lunch spends (I promise!), chips, beans n cheese....oh and choc pud and choc sauce :D:D:D £2.47 :(

Total of £1.25 spent this week.
Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!
  • ....... and I did rather well, even if I say so myself :p

I know I TRIED to misbehave and buy a baked potato and chilli but the world at large conspired against me so this week's scores on the doors...........

Monday 4/2 - £3.50 - Sandwiches & ham (surprise, surprise) and 12 cans diet coke and multi pack crisps. This £3.50 should stretch for over two weeks (provided nobody gets sticky fingers here at work ;) )

Tuesday 5/2 - £0 - bagels with cheese & pickle & diet coke (from above). I even got a free journey on the bus today

Wednesday - £0 - Sandwiches with, wait for it, chicken! I also had it with Warburtons EXTRA thick. My God!

Thursday £0 - Sandwiches with chicken again

Friday £0 - sandwiches with ham and cheese - and check out that signature :T

    Oh poo...

See, the thing is, in my defence :o ....

I wasn't at all well last week and have been told to eat little and often and well the thing is, I didn't have any money yesterday to do a decent shop so didn't have anything to make for lunch and well...

OH ALL RIGHT, I'm having a school lunch today! Although I've only ordered a tuna salad bagette (with extra red onion) - DON'T TRY AND STOP ME! h.jpg

I'm not having dessert though, so that makes my total for this week (so far) £1.47 :A
