Thank you very much. I’ve just read it. My question is the email ok? Or should I do it by post? How I will actually know if they read my email? What exactly should I add in the email? My ref number from notices??

Email is preferred because you have the evidence that you sent it.

You will ask for confirmation that they have Erased your old address.

You will need to follow that up for a couple of times. You may need to email their data officer (they should have an email address for the data officer). You may also need to remind them that you will report to ICO if they fail to erase your old address (high-tier fine is at 4% of annual revenue, up to 17.5mil for server breach of GDPR if complaint is held)

There are guidance in Newbie thread about wording, such as highlighting 'instruct', 'erase' (don't quote me on this as this is based on my distant memory, please double check the Newbie thread on change address)

Just be prepared. This will take a few rounds to get it done.

Yes email it's proof you sent it. Include PCN ref nos and car reg. You'll need to attach 2 redacted documents showing only your name and NEW ADDRESS eg. bank credit statement, utility bill, council tax, top part V5C. NO PHOTO ID.

You can search forum for what to put in your email. Points to include are:
notify them change of your address from  date
your new address for service is xxxxxxxx
instruct them and any of their agents to erase your old address xxxxxxxx
attached are 2 documents xxxx and xxxx
ask them to confirm your instructions have been actioned
Start email  Dear Data Protection Officer end Yours faithfully,  your full name

You should also consider royal mail redirection service when you move for first few months.

I’ve already moved 3 months ago and for 3 months I had Royal Mail redirection which is now finished. I’m thinking about change address with UKPCS and also Moorside legal as adviced and on top of it buy redirection for another 3 months just to be sure. Anyway if something will come to my old address in the meantime I will be not aware of it unfortunetly as I just found out 1 week notice is needed for redirection

When you email both UKCPS and ML to tell them to erase the old address, ask the latter what stage the case is at. Easy.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
