Quick update........
Still no news about OH's job although the factory seems to be making plans for the summer which seems promising.
Matched betting was going along nicely (about £36 up last weekend) until yesterday when I failed to match a free bet so lost 78p:eek::rotfl:
Thankfully I am still only using low stakes so minimal damange if I fark it up.
Work is mental.....
trying to beat the black clouds too but the sun is shining today so I can get out on a lovely walk with my OH which always lifts my spirits. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Hopefully spring will be around in a bit and that might help lift your spirits too (daffs, little lambs...) - like PAP says "keep plodding":D.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
Mortgage balance: £36,210
Money making challenge £38/400

I am on a mission:j
Got a signup offer and made £150 + £20 if quidco tracks.

Thank goodness for Easter Holidays, a whole 2 weeks off to catch up and re-group.
OH and I have been decorating the bathroom which hasn't been touched since we moved in (7 years ago:rotfl:) managed to decorate it for under £30 so have £70 out of £100 budget to get flooring and accessories.
Work has been very hectic on top of which I am currently studying for highers which will be completed in June and I also have been putting in a bit of extra effort in an area at work that I would love to get in to.
All in all............I am almost meeting myself coming back again.
On the mortgage overpayment front, March was a complete disaster with a measly £150 sent. This was down to a culmination of overspending including an extravagant weekend away to a wedding which could have been much cheaper but OH and I suddenly and dangerously got the "what the hell" attitude:o
Matched betting has been promising.
March = £246
April to date = £32.27
This is all towards my money neutral gift total.
I will be posting my overpayment cheque today for £700 which means that it is out of my account so we CAN'T spend it:cool:

Early start for me today resulting in my ironing pile all done and put away:D
Must go food shopping today (using voucher) and then back to get ready for son's first gig tonight they are the support band so only 6 songs.
He had a really nasty fall yesterday on his skateboard which resulted in a nasty split on his head which he went to the hospital on his own to be treated:eek: I am still shocked that no attempt was made by the hospital to contact me (he is only 14). He needs his hair washing for the gig tonight and as he cant get the glue wet for a couple of days that operation is going to be.......interesting.
