First post of February and its the 9th already:eek:
Just did an extra bit of work for a friend (year end) and earned myself £100 that will go into the neutral gifts pot (currently £405).
Scratchcards up to £5.50 so still quite a way before I can withdraw the £10
Tesco clubcard tokens stand at £64 giving me £256 towards a holiday (if they dont pull the plug beforehand)
Nothing much else to report really. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Time for a mortgage update
As part of the Mfi3 challenge we are asked to update our figures every 3 months and as there will be no further activity in my mortgage account until after the 12/03/10 chart update I have submitted my final figures for the first 3 months of the challenge:
Starting balance at 12/12/09 £42991
Balance as at 12/03/10 £38387
This balance is made up of the main mortgage account of £37338 and additional borrowing account £1049 (almost gone:D)
I am really pleased with these figures as thanks to the money from MIL it has put me ahead of target. Lets hope I can keep it up:jBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Worrying news about OH's job (again), not sure of the position of the company at this moment in time but I shall push ahead regardless as if the worst came to worst then we can claim back our overpayments.
Moving on.........
I have been having a read at some other MFW threads this morning and have been inspired into getting my bum into gear again so I shall once again embark on the matched betting wagon.
It does make my brain ache though:oBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Fingers crossed for hubbies job, we were on such a rollercoaster last year with my hubbies job - one minute you can relax a bit, the next you're on edge waiting for any news.
Great job on the OPs though!0 -

Thanks Evab, no such thing as a secure job these days. Shakey year for education ahead this year too so who knows what is on the cards for my career either.

Hi Louse - fingers cross for you both. I keep intending to find out more about the matched betting cos I could do with the extra too, but knowing my luck would probably end up loosing money!!!0
