So I was supposed to be going for a small tattoo today. It's the writing from my 18th birthday card from my Granny who passed away a few years ago. Will rearrange but took me 6 weeks to get an appt!
Now that's been cancelled I've ended up with 5 dogs to walk in addition to my own - well it's money coming in isn't it!
Not the nice quiet relaxing day I had hoped for.Debt Free - 4th June 20251 -
All dogs walked for the day and managing to get through my workload for the day. I'll defo have to work late though to catch up but I don't mind that.
I've had 3 washings done and on the line. Planned to get all my couch cushions off yesterday but ended up just washing all the throws instead. I think I'll get them all off later tonight and try and get it all dry and back on tomorrow.
Ordered my friends a washing machine off Very in July last year and it's broke so spent about 45 minutes on the phone this morning sorting out a repair for them, someone heading to theirs to get that sorted tomorrow.
Also hired the nail gun for the nephew coming on Friday to finish the fence.Debt Free - 4th June 20252 -
Nephew on the way now to finish the fence. Cannot wait to be able to let the dogs out the back garden again.Debt Free - 4th June 20251

So bit of a hiccup with the gate. Nephew built it all and it was a teeny bit too big! He's managed to trim it but he's gonna have to come back because by the time this was all going on it was freezing cold and pitch black.
I've told him and his fiancée that I'm booking them an overnight stay with dinner, bed and breakfast as a thank you so they were chuffed about that.
I'll call and get that booked and paid for tomorrow.Debt Free - 4th June 20250 -

I am really not well. Ended up with this flu bug that's doing the rounds and it's floored me.
This has been more than a week now, still feel dreadful and wheezing like an old set of bag pipes.
Hopefully feel better soon cos me and my Sister have a gig on Thursday and we've been looked forward to it for months!

Hope you are feeling better and made the gig you wanted to see with your sister.
The debt paydown is going well. I would want to get rid of that odd £62 though if you can.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. We made the gig but left early - we were both so tired from being unwell for so long. Heard all our favourite songs first though!
Oh see I could but then that would throw out my monthly payments that I've got planned out down to the last £1 - I'll hopefully be able to make another overpayment this month just need to wait for all the bills to come out and see how I'm getting on.Debt Free - 4th June 20250 -
Hello t'internet world,
Today I am feeling slightly better again! Hoping another few days and this flu will be a distant memory.
Took the dogs a nice big long walk around the farm today so they're both snoozing and I'm watching 'Con Mum' right now. Well aren't people just shocking! Not even at the end of it yet so waiting for the worst part.
I'm gonna sort out my washing, change my bedding and give the floors a clean. We'll see how much of it I can get through before I have to sit down and rest.
