Well done on furniture move Dolly. I think a move like that necessitates a bit of decluttering anyway so I'd say you made progress on that front none the less.

Thank you @castlelough wished I hadn't started when I was halfway through but that always happens.

It's lovely outside today, than sun really brightens the mood.

Funny decluttering attempt from me today which was also a fail!

My back fence blew down during storm Eowyn. Got a quote of £450 for someone to do a bult uplift so thought nah I can sort this myself.

Off I pop to B&Q to buy an axe, saw and an incinerator bin.

Set myself up out in the back garden today quite happy to start burning down my back fence bit by bit.

Within a few minutes I managed to burn my hand (not bad), nearly lost my eyebrows, set fire to a tea towel I was using as a glove then when I was attempting to kick the lid back on as a raging inferno was in progress I melted the toe of my croc.

So I'm gonna give up on that project, load the car up and do several dump runs.

Think that's the best option for my own safety.

    Morning all,
Happy to report no more fire mishaps - my days of setting fire to things are over.
This morning on the dog walk I heard the woodpecker so stood still for a minute or 2 and he flew right over my head to get to another tree! He was absolutely STUNNING!
    Made my morning.

Decided to post some pics of the stuff in the back garden I'm aiming to get rid of and someone has quoted me £180 to pick it up on Monday - Ideally I'd not spend anything but honestly will take me a couple of months of dump runs in between 2 jobs and the dogs so will make my life so much easier.

    Will be well worth it.

I am very happy to report that I have now decluttered a back fence and a shed!

You want to know who isn't happy about it? The guy who came to collect it. He got here with a younger guy to help him and asked me to take him and show him what was to be collected.

Took him out the back court and showed him and he said this is booked in for some garden waste so trees, bushes, grass etc. Showed him the pictures that I sent and the price that was agreed. Well he huffed and puffed and swore the place down. He then proceeded to say I am so sorry I am not getting at you but this job hasn't been booked in properly and the price is not right.

He then said not to worry it will all be sorted for the price agreed.

Phew - actually thought he was just gonna leave at one point! So all sorted for the princely sum of £180.00.

    Used Up
    Shampoo
    Deodorant
    Body spray
    Shower Gel x2
    Toothpaste
    Nivea Body Cream tin
    Body Shop Edelweiss Face Cream

So added the BS face cream to the UU list today, does it count as cheating if I used it on my feet? Been putting my moisturising socks on to try and get these feet ready for some sandals in the spring/summer.

What a lovely day it is. Made the mistake of going out on my walks with just leggings and a t-shirt so I am now chilled to the bone! Home with an oodie on, might actually blast the heating on for a wee hour see if I can get a heat in my bones.

Before I went out on the dog walks I went out to the main back court and picked up all the excess bits of wood and plastic that got left behind after the guys collected the back fence and shed. It's looking so much more tidy out there now.

Nephew will be here on Friday to finish putting the rest of the back fence up so I need to hire the nail gun again. I'll phone B&Q and see if I can collect one from the store rather than get it delivered.

Think it's gonna be nice all week so tonight I'm gonna get all the cushions off the couch, get them washed so I can hang them out on the line tomorrow before I head out, should be able to get them back on clean tomorrow evening.
