Just logged into my mortgage account and I have an overpayment allowance for the year so I'm gonna try and get as close to that as possible between now and March 2026.

    MOP Allowance - £5,000 by 31st March 2026

So plan MOP is on - might not be able to hit this goal every month but if I pay £555.00 a month then I can hit the maximum OP amount.

I shall update you in July on the first OP.

Well done for paying off all your credit card debt but that sucks about the potential job loss.  Good luck with your mortgage overpayments x

Thank you @misstara - Honestly just have to hope that it doesn't happen but prepare myself financially to be in the best position possible if it does.

Well I'm happy that I've managed to get myself in a better place financially because the job is up in the air yet again.

Can't go into it too much but it's honestly infuriating.

I'm hoping that if I stay in my current role that things won't change but I don't see it. Feel like we'll end up moving to another way of working which means the flexibility I have now will be out of the window and I'll have to give up my dog walking and honestly don't know how I'll survive financially without that.

    I'm stressing.

  • Remember you have achieved so much. Stressing will not change anything except health negatively.
Calm and breathe. Having read through your diary, may I suggest you break what you plan to do into smaller chunks. Then if you do more than planned it is a bonus!
For example tidy/clean one room a day, do washing only 3 days a week and so on.
    Keep going.
