  • Managed to get the kitchen cleaned the other day and it's still looking okay.

I was shopping with a friend yesterday so that means the contents of all the bags are dumped on the breakfast bar. I'll sort that and put a washing on soon.

  • Had my first pumpkin spice latte today - it's officially AUTUMN and I love it!

WFH today, got some loose ends to tie up then it's housework time - the joys!

I'm determined that by the time I go to bed on Wednesday evening my whole house will be CLEAN and TIDY.

I'm such a messy person honestly it's so bad but I'm changing my ways one day at a time.

    Gonna tackle it in this order;
    • Living room
    • Bedroom
    • Dining room
    • Kitchen
    • Bathroom
    • Hallway
I shall keep you posted on my progress.

  • Just booked a wee comedy show for my sister's 40th.

It's in Oran Mor in Glasgow, the Play Pie and a Pint - always wanted to go. This is a comedy about a murder so should be good!

So the living room and the bedroom are both looking lovely, just need to keep it that way.

  • So update on the flood, neighbour didn't hear anything from the council so he called the emergency repairs people out, they came and had a look last night and the waste pipe was loose so that's all sorted. He very kindly offered to come down, plaster and redecorate my bathroom. It was identified and fixed in less than 24hrs so a wee wash of the walls will do it. Really appreciate that though, good to have a nice neighbour.
Tidied up my living room and bedroom yesterday in between work and walking dogs so those 2 rooms look lovely. Today I am going to tackle the kitchen and I need to get into the habit of giving the whole place a wee once over every day. Here's to making new habits and having them stick!
Had a look over the bank accounts today and I am happy to report that my savings are now £2,500! I'm just getting myself better prepared incase I need to give up on the dog walks during the week.
New boss hasn't given a very good first impression so not holding out much hope on her tbh.

  • Dog walks done for the day, the paid ones anyway. Bailey and Luna snoozing while I work and they'll be back out around 6ish.

I've got a washing due to finish soon so I am going to work while that runs and when it finishes I'll fold and put away the dry washing then hang the wet and reload the machine.

All the throws and bedding got stripped off yesterday so will keep going until it's all done.

  • Good morning!

Decided to start the day off well. Got up and took the bins out, bin day so then had a look through the fridge and freezer and filled a bag with stuff that's been lurking in there for who knows how long.

Hung up a washing and put another load on then walked the dogs.

    Go me!
