Debt, Diet and Decluttering - The Lifetime Diary

Pulled out my big cupboard when I had a break from work. Only thing I've managed to declutter from there is a shelving unit which my friend is gonna use so win win!

Most of the stuff in there is gifts and a LOT of dog toys that I've picked up in the sales. I could get away with not buying another stuffed toy for my dogs probably for their whole entire lives - I am not even joking it is ridiculous! My problem is that I buy it, put it in a cupboard out the way and in my head it no longer exists so then I buy more. 

Actively trying to stop spending on anything that is not essential now so that will not be happening anymore. 

Of course when I had pulled everything out and was drowning in stuff my door went and it was the guy coming to pick up the nail gun I had hired to get my back fence sorted. Nephew didn't manage to get it all done but we've parked it and will get everything that we need in then I'll hire it again and he can finish it then I can let the dogs out the back garden again!

Out for my birthday dinner with friends tonight so gonna work till 5:30pm then get the dogs out a bit earlier so I can make it to dinner for 7:30pm. 

We're going to a vegan Asian inspired restaurant that we went to last month for another friends birthday. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but the food was delish!

Well dinner last night was lovely and didn't spend a penny!

Also got picked up and dropped off. 

Today its back to business as usual so WFH for my FT job, 3 paid dog walks, 3x 1hr walks for my own 2 dogs, housework and need to get packed for my weekend away. 

Will try and get some housework done in between all of that!

Payment was made to my Lloyds CC the other day so only £5,416 to go!

Haven't posted in a few days because I was away to a lovely lodge in Ayr for the weekend. 

Home now and got lots to do at home. 

Want to get the place scrubbed from top to bottom - spring clean!

It's lovely outside today. Got a couple of dogs to walk at 11:30am then I'll pick up my Mum and we can take B&L for their afternoon walk. We'll head to Loch Lomond for a bit, love it over there.

Well what a disaster. Tried to make it out to our wee spot in Loch Lomond but there was a road closure that wasn't showing up on Google maps. Took a different road but because it wasn't updating that the road was closed it kept taking us in massive loops on the country roads. 

More than an hour later we stopped at a nice spot called Queens View and took the dogs part of the way up there. We were not dressed for hiking so stopped when it got to the ankle breaking parts. 

Was a lovely walk in the long run but honesty I was getting so mad during the drive!

I am tired tonight. 

Will get off to bed soon I think. 

I've been fighting the urge the past 2 days to move my bedroom furniture around the place again. Honestly the only reason is that I don't think the chest of drawers has another move in it. Poor things been dragged about this house about 20 times in the last 4 years, I got this frantic moving of furniture gene from my Mum. She is 70 and still does it. 

Need to pop to the bank to pay in some cash that I've had building up. When I do that I'll make another payment to the Lloyds CC and knock another month off my debt free date.

I am so tired today. 

I'll head to the bank later this afternoon to pay that money in then make some more debt payments.

Moved the furniture and I love it!

Means the decluttering plans I had for today went out the window though. 

Looking forward to getting to bed in my lovely room tonight. 

Also by moving the furniture around in the room I've gained a shoe cabinet in the hallway in a space I was going to buy something to fill so very MSE!!

Just had dinner, very late I know, but I had an evening paid walk to do so wanted to get that out of the way before I settled for the night.
