Sitting watching the first Bridget Jones movie now.
Still no car so will have to get the bus to do my dog walks tomorrow which will be an absolute pain but I'll just have to do it - no other choice.
Car needs brake callipers so will be another £375ish that I'll need to pay out tomorrow when I pick it up.
I'm tired tonight so bed early for me.
Still didn't get round to finishing off my list to will C/O to tomorrow.

What a day. I am absolutely done in and freezing cold.
Been out since 8am till about 4pm. Had to take the bus to walk my dogs today which was a pain.
Also picked the car up and it's making the exact same noise. I've spent £1k on this car since January. Suspension, brake callipers and an exhaust clamp.
Garage said it needs brake pads and discs now - he said if I pay for the parts they'll cover the labour due to the fact it's now been in and out 3 times this year.
I mean it's an old car - and 61 plate but still! They said it's safe to drive so I'll get back to them in a couple of weeks to get the brakes done.- 3 paid dog walks

Had a great day at the wedding yesterday but I am so tired today.
Had my 2 out for 2x 1hr walks and also a paid 2hr walk so I am home now on the couch wrapped in a blanket!
Going to sit until 3 then it's time to get moving.
I've hardly done any housework all week so need to get the place clean and tidy.

Woo hoooooooo I ticked everything off my list yesterday!
Ended up getting quite a lot done yesterday. Kitchen cleaned, laundry hung up and dry put away, dining room cleaned, bedroom cleaned and bedding changed.
Would have got the whole house done but my mum phoned, she's got a femoral hernia which needs another operation and she was having really bad stomach pains last night - trip up to 2 different hospitals to be told she has trapped wind.
Oh well better to be safe than sorry.
To do list for today;- FT day shift - lots of the annual online learning to be done today
- 3 paid dog walks
- 1 visit to my friends dog - they're off to Edinburgh zoo today with their wee boy for a meerkat experience!
- Call garage and sort date for brake pads and discs to be fitted - C/O
- Tidy up
- Laundry
- Check funds

I am freezing cold!
Been out since about 11am. 2 of my paid walks done and just had Bailey and Luna out.
Meeting 1:30pm - when that finishes I'll leave to do my 3rd paid walk of the day then take my laptop to my friends. I'll sit with her dog for about an hour and potter on with some work. I'll attempt to get him out for a walk but he'll probs not want to go. So I'll give him some treats and head home. They're just round the corner so not too far.
Debt wise - I paid another £677.00 towards my Lloyds CC which means I'm now on track to be DF by November 2025. I'm going to throw all I can at it to try and pay it off sooner than that.Debt Free - 4th June 20251 -
OAP Plans - once my debt it paid off I am going to start adding £4,000.00 a year to my LISA which is currently sitting with a measly £1.00 in there to keep it open and active.
Ideally I'd love to save the maximum for all the following years;- 2025/26
- 2026/27
- 2027/28
- 2028/29
- 2029/30
- 2030/31
- 2031/32
- 2032/33

Have you thought about Tilly Tidying odds and ends into your Lisa. It's amazing how much it adds up to and you won't really miss it as it's small amounts.

I'm currently throwing all the odds and ends to the CC debt and mortgage but once they're PIF I'll start adding it to my savings.
Quite looking forward to seeing my wee OAP pot grow.Debt Free - 4th June 20251 -
Oh when is this temperature gonna go up a bit - my fingers and toes are about to just fall off.
Being a dog walker in this weather is not ideal.
Managed 3 paid dog walks today so happy with that, some money coming in.
Checked my Lloyds CC and the extra payment I made yesterday has come off so I am now in debt to the tune of £6,093.00.
I mean that doesn't include my mortgage but I'll worry about those figures once the CC is paid off.
I'll need to work on later tonight, lots to get through before I can log off. Just glad I can work from home and make up my hours when I need to because without my dog walking I would have to give up my own 2 dogs and honestly I just couldn't. Worth the 7 day working week!Debt Free - 4th June 20250 -
That's me just about to log off work and go straight to bed.
