Sainsbury’s Credit Card

I initiated a balance transfer on Saturday, and it still shows as pending on the Sainsbury card. Anyone know how long they take to process? My previous experience with transfers has been same or next day transfer.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. Should be next working day. Initiated my MT with MBNA on Monday early morning at ca 1am and straight after did the BT from Sainsbury. MBNA cash was in my account the same day. This morning the MBNA card shows as cleared so only 1 day of interest to pay and still as pending at Sainsbury.sausage_time said:I initiated a balance transfer on Saturday, and it still shows as pending on the Sainsbury card. With MBNA and Santander I managed to do the same day so no interest.

Couple of updates on the balance transfer offer:
- For me the link on-line to the BT pages does not work. I have used the app.
- I used all my credit limit up on the Sainsbury card, but applied for a modest increase to cover another balance and it was approved instantly.

Strange is that they tell you that the limit is 95% but I went slightly over it (2 transfers) as I just went with what they told me each time is the maximum when I made the transfer. Looks like they prepare for the transition to Natwest...sausage_time said:Couple of updates on the balance transfer offer:- For me the link on-line to the BT pages does not work. I have used the app.

I agree the limit shown is more than 95%, but I decided to hold at 95% just in case they saw that as a breach of the conditions (and therefore they might slap interest on).pecunianonolet said:

For anyone who took advantage of the zero fee offer just before it expired. Check your transactions. I was charged a 1.9% fee. It took a phone call to customer services to get the fee cancelled.2

I did a couple of transfers on the last day (9th for me) which went through OK with no fee.
Note, on 10th I was offered a new 1 year 0% transfer deal with a 1.9% fee. I may use that too (if they will increase my credit limit!)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. My transfer was also requested on the 9th, but the actual date of the transfer transaction is shown as the 10th. The fee transaction was dated the 11th0

Same here. I rang customer services but they said I had to wait until my statement was produced next week and phone again before they can cancel the fee. Don't know why they can't do it before. Had your statement been produced?NameWithheld said:For anyone who took advantage of the zero fee offer just before it expired. Check your transactions. I was charged a 1.9% fee.
