Does anyone know if when Sainsbury’s credit card services are passed over to NatWest, if they will continue to offer nectar points on credit card spending?

Among other stuff the information I received yesterday stated "there will be no immediate changes to how you collect Nectar points with your card"2

The word immediate makes me wonder whether nectar will eventually be dropped.Best Regards,

Natwest haven't purchased the rights to the Sainsbury's brand and no Nectar partnership has been announced.
You can be fairly certain that no later than the time cards are migrated to Natwest Group's own system, the Nectar earning element will be lost.
Either way, you shouldn't delay in trying to move spend to a more rewarding product. Nectar Amex beats it hands down (2 pts per £, 1% effective, flat rate except Costco) and Barclaycard Avios (with an autoconvert to Nectar) will yield 1 pt per £ (effective 0.5%). This compares to the Sainsburys earn rate of 1 per £2 in Sainsburys (0.25%*) and 1 pt per £5 elsewhere (effectively 0.1%*).
* these rates are actually even worse than this, as Sainsburys Bank always round down - so a £3.99 purchase at Sainsburys earns only 1 point and a £4.99 spend anywhere else earns nothing.

I almost closed my old Sainsbury's "Gold" credit card when they recently stopped the 0% FX and no interest or charges on ATM usage if paid in full. Glad I didn't, just been offered 12 month 0% balance and money transfers with no fees. i've also been offered the same zero transfer fees for BT & MT0

Yes - I’ve had the same offer. My only reservation is they record it as a cash advance to the CRAs0

Same here, got the same for MT and BT. Sadly they only allow the MT to be done over the phone. They asked me as part of the security questions when I opened my current account, that was 2019 but couldn't remember the exact months o had to guess and I think I guessed it wrong so was declined. Been told they send out a letter with a code and I can call again.
Now seeing it seems to be recorded as cash advance to CRAs I think I use the MBNA MT offer at 6.9% and 0% fees and BT that over the same day to Sainsbury. Also can't be fussed to wait for snail mail and the letter next week, another phone call and too many questions there. They asked me today why I needed the money. Told them for home improvements when in fact it is for stoozing.
Still some amazing offers and funds will do fine at my 4.85% Coventry 4 access saver and in my Coventry First Home Saver at 5.1% before that lowers to 4.85% as well.0
