It looks as though I will wait two weeks for payment because I use RM48 but via RM and not via Ebay.  Their underlying message is to use their system or wait 14 days.  Ah well!  I sell a lot of knitting patterns and these aren`t tracked so I will have to wait a fortnight for payment too.
For your RM48 items You just add the delivery confirmation number to your ebay sales when you post - there is no requirement to use ebay postage.

My further update is that I now have quite a few pending payment on the 16th , having sent them Tuesday as LL @£1.55 , strangely though my RM48 and my standard parcel sent on the 12th and delivered today  show as payable on the 15th, so not even 48 hours. Knowing ebay it's an error and will be corrected, but that would mean a mere 3 day wait .
I always post the tracking numbers for RM48 but I dont think Ebay take notice of these if not via ` their` postage  platform.  The patterns are taking a fortnight to be paid.

I`m sorry- I wasn`t very clear.  I know the LL`s will be paid after a fortnight but late payment is happening to the RM48`s.

They always have for me , as long as I enter the number in the correct tracking box it works exactly the same as when I buy direct from eBay.

    Yes confirm same.

Just pondering this whole process as I’ve only sold two things since , one was simple 2nd class letter so no tracking (low value so not worth any better service) & one i sent RM48 tracked.  Funds for this now available, still a few days for the other one despite being sent earlier, but just as expected.   I’m presuming that although there is a longer window allowed that EBay are expecting most claims for INAD to be made in 48 hour timeframe ( I haven’t yet seen whether payment is by the day or to the minute after delivery I.e if delivered at 3pm, funds available 3pm two days later)

Sold my first item using simple delivery. It says "post by Monday 17th" which is a bit tight...
I can’t work out the … but taking the bait, seems reasonable to be.
It's just that an item I sold on Friday was 'send by tuesday' so I was surprised an item sold a day later needs to be sent sooner. I guess it may have something to do with Royal Mail being more limited opening hours than evri/yodel parcel shops
As it happens have sold two items tonight, one says post by Tuesday (writing on Sunday), one says post now.

I thought the post by dates were determined by what the seller puts for their despatch time.

Yes they are so it is very possible they can be different. I mostly have them set to 2 days, but I did list some bulkier things with a 3 day despatch just in case of packing issues. I usually still send next day, but just wanted breathing space.

I don’t find my send by dates are ever wrong, it’s just my estimated delivery dates that eBay suggest, which are a work of pure fiction. However that’s a rant I’ve already had on here several times.

The last three things I've sold say Tues-mon-tues, the difference is the middle one was using simple delivery. I've downloaded the qr code, had I purchased a qr code it would class that as the item despatched.

Just for interest, got my first funds available 48 hours after delivery but I note the amount available has promotion fees deducted for items I’ve sold since where the payment is not yet available to withdraw.

I sold an item a week ago and dispatched via RM tracked 48.
The item is showing as 'dispatched' so not delivered but I've had feedback for the item.

What's the best way to get my funds cleared?

    Thanks
