It all seems a bit hit and miss. I’ll be interested to see what happens when I take my holiday settings off , assuming I sell anything of course.

Sold an item - balance was available by end of day. No difference so far, other then the increased price of all items.
I was hoping it would show the item price, and then the eBay Protection fee as a separate entity, but it doesn't - it just rolls the fee into the listed price so buyers do not see any eBay fee's at all

Well, it's changed for me now,
Sold an item today (vehicle parts & accessories category)

    Payment page says:
Without tracking details, your funds will be available in your eBay balance on 22 Feb.

    Still also got the ridiculous:
    Dispatch by 11 Feb
Estimated delivery date shown to buyer: 10-13 Feb
Buyer has chosen the free postage option of 'other carrier 3-5 days'

Jewellery and watch parts doesn't look like buyer had paid a fee but funds on hold as of today due to 'untracked postage'

Luckily the buyer fee hasn’t been added to jewellery categories yet.

As for the hold, it still seems a bit hit and miss.

I've been selling old toys on Ebay, 4 finished last night. I've sent as 48 hr tracked also last night. Other than saying that funds will be in my account typically two days after delivery that's all I can see.

Just glad our more expensive toys sold before 4th Feb.

I’ve sold two things in past 24 hours, one showing available to withdraw, the other showing available tomorrow

Both under £10 if it makes a difference
Sold another sub £10 item yesterday and funds pending until 23rd. Must have been a “soft launch”

This has probably been asked already but what if postman doesn't scan a 1st/2nd class item? I've got this exact situation where I would've thought buyer to have been in touch for an INR (and hasn't left feedback or gotten in touch). On sold/orders page it's showing as fund available once 'delivered'. I sent it 2nd class - not an expensive item but unsure where I stand with eBay and getting the funds (£12). Tia and sorry if already asked.

It’s been covered a few times plus it’s in the actual announcement and opening thread 😀 however , if there is no tracking then funds are released after 14 days . That’s why this is often referred to as a 14 day hold policy, as that’s the worse case scenario.
