That's a pain about the Garmin - is it definitely the watch rather than the charger?

Yeah, the battery started draining quickly from about march so I turned the o2 monitor off, that improved it for a while but now it barely lasts 48h between charges and the battery power seems to drop quickly at random times so I'm having to constantly check it. And for the last couple of weeks it's not always charging when it's plugged in. I've tried different plugs and different charging positions.
I've had it about two and a half years and it's served me well. And I've got an extra six months out of it through persevering. It's almost not working as much as it is working now though so it's getting annoying.

That's annoying about your garmin. Hopefully you find a reasonably priced new one.

I'll hold out as long as I can. I've usually managed to get my last few watches during big sales on the Garmin site too. I'll keep checking.

    Fabulous @LzzyIsGod !
It needs to have the oxygen levels reading and the sleep monitor thingy please and thank you!

On a separate note I had Chinese takeaway last night and was very ill from it. I've diagnosed myself with gallstones. It's only happened 3 or 4 times over the last year, each time after a greasy takeaway, so as long as I behave myself and stop funneling fat into my gob I'll be alright I reckon. Think of the money I could save! I'm having a proper word with myself. My cholesterol levels will be happier too. I am feeling a bit under the weather still, so having an evening of rest. I think now might be a good time to tackle a few (more) niggly health things. So many gifts that come with ageing! I'm not complaining too much, definitely better than the alternative.

No financial stuff to report really. My bank switch seems to be going through. As long as my brakes cost no more than I've estimated I should be fine for the final week before payday. Got a full tank of fuel today. The freezer is well stocked and still getting veg from the garden. Just need to get a few bits from the supermarket on the weekend, but £10 max.
