I'm feeling the same at present, irritated and so annoyed with myself to be in this position.
i keep thinking back to two years ago and how quickly that has gone, so hopefully the next couple of years will go as quick.
There's groups of Facebook near me called 'before the tip' people get rid of all sorts of good (and rubbish) things, see if there's any local to you for a microwave to make do until you get your new kitchen.

I feel your pain with the house.  Ours has basically barely been touched since the 70s and we just don't have the skills to do the work ourselves.  We're doing it gradually as we can afford it, but it takes so long to save up and is so stressful finding tradespeople.

Wondering if you have an air fryer. It has a really good reheat function...

Thanks @jwil mine is mostly 80s with a bit of 90s. I think it's all rolled up with just generally wanting things (life) to change. I've been watching a lot of old house restoration videos on YouTube which probably isn't helping 😄
@doingitanyway I love my airfryer! I use it pretty much every day (got it when my 40yo oven started failing) and put all sorts in it.
I ended up ordering a new microwave from Asdo, it was only £40 and included delivery. I saved money on the mot so it's all fine. I did look on second hand sites but there was nothing newish (clean) local and cheap.
I think I'm going to paint and oil my butchers block trolley thing and paint the pantry doors to make myself feel better. This disintegrating kitchen really gets me down so I just have to do little things often in it so I don't get at it with an axe/flame thrower 🤣

Not much to report, but thought I'd check in as I've just done my mid month spread sheet. Things are shifting slowly, I am on track to get my CC and loan debt under 30k by the end of the year.
My new microwave arrived yesterday, works well and it's a bit smaller than my old one so I have a bit more worktop space. It made me hate the kitchen more, so I've ripped out a bit of wood panelling, painted some of the green cream, and asked someone to come out and give me a quote for kitchen tiles. I know I can't afford them for a while but at least I will know how long it might take me to save for them. The quote for vinyl was eyewatering because they had to level the floor first. I'm (possibly naïvely) hoping that they won't need to for tiles so although the tiles will cost more than vinyl it won't be thousands more.
Mid month food delivery just arrived so that should be me sorted for the rest of the month (maybe with a bit of help from Olio). Not much driving next week for work so I can get my brakes fixed and might not need a fuel top up.
I've started the process for the bank switch, so hopefully that will give me some extra money to pay off the debts.
I need to get some more things listed on vinted this weekend too. Every little helps.

Floor. I just can't keep vinyl/lino clean with the bog garden and the animals, and the laminate got warped pretty quickly. I need proper hardcore scrubbable floor tiles in a dark colour.
