Well done on the weight loss!

Sorry about the frustrating banks, definitely put in some complaints.

Well done 🥳 I’ve never used Vinted. I’ve used eBay in the past. To be honest I hate all the faff and end up sending stuff to the charity shop rather than sell so well done for tackling it.

Great news about the MOT and I've had that before where things that were advisories disappear, and things I expect to fail don't.

Also great result with the complaint and well done on the listing.

Thanks @Bananabreadyum I think I rely on my stubbornness to keep me motivated.
On the whole just trying to learn how make things better slowly, with patience, and keep my health and sanity at a reasonable level 🤣

It's been a quiet non spendy week because I used so much of my 'treat money' last weekend (haircut and meal out).
First three Vinted things are sold and posted. Every little helps. Bought a bottle of wine to celebrate overcoming that massive hurdle 😄
I've decided for now vinted earnings can be spent on new work clothes as I am a bit desperate and it'll keep me motivated. I just need a few tops and maybe one pair of black jeans.
I've given my mate money for holiday accommodation and I've paid for my travel visa. Just spending money now but I have about £50 saved in coins in a jar and I'll be able to take at least £80 of September's treat money. I don't think I need to buy anything for the trip, I should have everything here already. I am considering buying a large rucksack as I don't really get on with suitcases, especially if traveling around, but plenty of time to think about that (I go in 5 weeks).
I have just enough left to get my brakes done (mot advisory) without going into the emergency fund. I can get tyres next month, then I'll be all safe before the drive to the airport.
Paying all the credit cards and most of the bills in the first week is reassuring but it is also a bit... boring because I don't have the dopamine hit of seeing numbers come down throughout the month. I'll have to find some other source.

I've had an irritable day today. It's silly, I know I am doing well, I know I am getting somewhere, I know things are better than they were a few years ago. Just some days I get annoyed by all the things that need to be fixed in the house, and so fed up with having the same nagging thoughts and reminders over and over again. There is so much that needs to be fixed (it is an old house), but I don't have the money, the skills, or the help to do most of it. I painted a wooden trellis to make myself feel better.
I really am going to have to replace my microwave soon, it's been on the blink for about 4 or 5 months and I've hung on and hung on. Friday night it took a few minutes to cook poppadoms that usually take 40 to 45 seconds. I would like to buy a decent one that could be part of the new kitchen I eventually get, but I think it's going to have to be the cheapest new one I can find.
Tomorrow I will be in a better mood hopefully.
