    Hi all,

After a long wait, I have received my N180 from the court.  I've filled it out as per the instruction on the template defence, but cannot find the email address on the form or letter to send it to.  Do I just send it to the previous email address as before (Claimresponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk) or is there a better one?

Do I also only need to include dcbllegal in the email, or do I need to let Euro Car Parks know too?

    Thanks

No. The correct email address is listed in a black box above the First 12 Steps in Template Defence thread and I think step 8 tells you who you copy it to.

Follow the 12 steps in the defence template thread in announcements

Email the downloaded and filled in N180 PDF document and attach it to your email,  send to the DQ email address found in the 12 steps  ( which you should be following   ) and CC the info@ DCB Legal address too

No need to send anything to ECP,  thats what their lawyers are for

I've got my mediation call in a couple of days and after reading a lot of the things on here I just wanted to confirm that its just a case of not agreeing to anything they offer?

I also just wanted to ask if I should mention anything about my defence?  I was just going to say that I don't think I have done anything wrong, so don't think I should pay anything, so should I mention that or just politely decline any offer to pay?

You can mention your stance,  but you wont be discussing the case in detail,  this is about reaching a settlement figure,  money, or not, not about the case itself,  but your short sentence is OK

It's either offer nothing,  zero, or offer £10 , then maybe £20 , should you wish to make a small offer,  most people don't offer a penny

    Yes.

And I would tell the Mediator they are being duped if they and their colleagues believe private parking claimants' representatives.

Tell the Mediator that this case will be discontinued (because Euro Car Parks ones via DCB Legal always are) and their reps are considered by MPs to be using and abusing the court system to frighten people into paying money they don't owe.

Tell them this case is a complete waste of everyone's time and you hope the Mediators are passing this honest information onto their senior team.

    Polite "goodbye". Phone down!

Everyone (hundreds of posters in the first half of 2025 alone) with a single PCN claim from DCB Legal, have easily beaten these.

DCB Legal will discontinue by the New Year.

No hearing, no costs, nowt scary.

But it is a national disgrace and a drain on Society, in terms of money and anxiety.

We are glad you posted in August as we need you!

If you want to be part of the push to change things in future, it's very important that people like you tell the Government that:

    a) you have no faith in POPLA or the IAS and that there must be the SINGLE APPEALS SERVICE that the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 *almost* promised. As long as it is independent and impartial (and only ONE appeals service, not two involved in a race to the bottom) that will give a real option to resolve disputed cases out of court.

b).  THAT THE ENRICHMENT OF 'DEBT RECOVERY FEES' MUST BE COMPLETELY BANNED. DISPUTED CASES ARE NOT SOLVED BY DEMANDING MORE MONEY AND OFFERING A 'PAYMENT PLAN' THAT ONLY DUPED VICTIMS PAY. YOU IGNORED THIS BECAUSE THERE WAS NO FAIR APPEAL ON OFFER BUT WHEN YOU RESPONDED TO DCB LEGAL THEY FOBBED YOU OFF. ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY AND THESE FIRMS ARE SEEN TO OFFER NOTHING TO PREVENT CONSUMER HARM. THEY CAUSE IT!

c). Tell them about your experience and the complete and utter waste of court resources caused on a grand scale by DCB Legal,

Do it this month pleeease! We will discuss it on that thread next week if you want ideas.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Thanks Guys.

I had my mediation and went as expected.  They offered me to settle for £260 and said that my defence was just a template off google, so weren't really interested.  I just reiterated that I had done nothing wrong and wasn't going to give them anything.

I wasn't brave enough to go with @Coupon-mad advise as it was pretty nerve wracking and didn't want to say too much!

I wonder if they actually looked at the defence and were just trying to pressure me into settling as they seemed to dismiss my defence like I hadn't put any thought into it, which judging from the thread is obviously not true.

I had an email back from mediation saying that we could make an agreement so case now going back to the court.

    Onto the next stage!

PS @Coupon-mad I'm going through the thread atm and will contribute soon.  Thanks to you and @Gr1pr as ever for all your help so far
