    Check your junk folder first if not there then email DCB Legal say they failed to notify you and provide you with a copy of the N279.

    Have just emailed them. I'm fairly certain they haven't bothered to send it as have been looking out for it.

    If they ignore you threaten them with a costs application because you only found out this week and had spent hours on prepping your evidence and statement.

    Well, after about 10 days of asking it finally arrived!

    Notice of discontinuance - Dated 24th OCTOBER 2025!

    I checked my junk/spam mail for one dated before, but am sure I haven't received it as I was looking out for it and every other email they sent before has come through. I think they were just trying to leave me on the hook as I was actually contesting the case, so probably trying to get me to sweat a bit (which it did in fairness)

    Thanks again to everybody that helped especially @Gr1pr and @Coupon-mad without whose stellar advice I would not have had a clue of where to begin. It really is a great service you provide so thanks once again :)

    The discontinuance letter is attached to this post and is another one to add the growing list of people you've helped

    Yay! Congrats!

    At last, you now know it's over after almost 3 years of intimidation and all because the BPA got into bed with the IPC and removed the protection of the consideration period on arrival, so there is currently no observation period on arrival to park the damn car, read the terms and decide to stay.

    Used to be a separate allowance of time ten years ago but the BPA cynically caved in and removed it and now spout that the time begins at the unknown moment that the vehicle passes the entrance camera.

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
