It's a shame the OP doesn't reply with answers to the questions that have been asked so we get the full picture.

That's not how MMDs work.Jimifan said:It's a shame the OP doesn't reply with answers to the questions that have been asked so we get the full picture.
From every MMD posted:Unfortunately the MSE team can't answer Money Moral Dilemma questions as contributions are emailed in or suggested in person. They are intended to be a point of debate and discussed at face value. Remember that behind each dilemma there is a real person so, as the forum rules say, please keep it kind and keep it clean.
Personally, I really can't understand why someone would want to send in a MMD instead of asking a question on the forum.
MSE strip out most of the information given to make it a 'point of debate' which - imho - doesn't help at all.0 -
MMDs get quoted in the newsletter and may appear on the front MSE page, so get far more exposure. Helpful for MSE and helpful for the poster who may receive more varied opinions. This is particularly so when the question raised may be naturally posted on a board or sub-board that doesn't receive much traffic.Pollycat said:

There are only 'more varied opinions' as MSE strip out the majority of information in the interests of 'debate'.
I recall a MMD which had lots of 'varied opinions' but when the originator of the MMD actually posted the full story they'd submitted to MSE, most of those 'varied opinions' were useless.
Anyway - off-topic so I'm out.0
