So it’s been busy at new job and it’s full on, upside is it’s mostly virtual training meaning my petrol is likely to last all month which is a huge bonus!
couple more weeks of that to come , it is needed as pay is worked out differently to other jobs I’ve had so I’ll only get paid for 20days due to their cut off period.
Ill have to go into savings unfortunately to make up any shortfall but I should get my backdated nhs payrise which will help a little against that.
next month should be busy and that saves on impulse spending as I’m too busy.
however still need to finish garden, determined to not half finish a job as usually happens.
after that I must save hard and top up holiday/house fund.

So I have been really busy with my training in new job, it’s been full on and still 18 days to go until I have a week off, it’s been full time which has been hard but we are nearing end now.
Will be able to get back to saving as wages should be full time this month which will help the depleted savings account.
have to pay for plumber as we had 2 leaking toilets. I’m hoping they are sorted, hubby went in and reseated the seal and it seems to be dry now. Fingers crossed we don’t have to call him out again. Feel a bit peeved that hubby actually sorted the problem out!
think i should say something 😕

can’t believe we had to put covers on our new garden furniture as it feels like summers over now.
We bought expensive cover’s because we have gone cheap in past and covers don’t fit and end up blowing off In the wind.
husband asked for discount thinking he’d get 10% but they gave him £70 off, always worth asking for sure.
anyway I OP £21 off mortgage which isn’t a lot but something and I don’t have much left to op anyway now so I’ll add more next month hopefully.
always exciting when mortgage number reduces a whole number so now starts with 55

1st day coaching yesterday at new job and it was ok, loads to learn but I’ll be getting plenty of practice this week!
lower back a bit twingey though so must do exercises and book a back massage and must organise a stand up desk for work.
this full time desk stuff is playing havoc with my back so I’ll be glad when I can reduce my hours after training.
Finance wise we are having more expense with daughter requiring private appointment with liver specialist but luckily got nhs scan quick and no cancer or fatty liver detected so that’s good news, now to find out why liver tests are out of whack.
anyway that’s what savings are for
finances will also take a hit with plumbing bill, not sure what that will come too.
Put £30 petrol in car and that should last me a month as my job is now a grand total of 10miles round trip.
l am loving the 15 min commute, down from 45 mins and in 5 months i can work from home so it will be even better, we are looking to reduce 3 car household to 2 at that point.
my daughter and i can easily share and im going to get an e bike for summer and bike to work.
£0 spend day today as I aim to finish woodwork in utility as it’s raining, husband finished walls at weekend so it’s the final push to finish.
Then I will catch up on some housework and do
lots of back stretching, strengthening excercises.
I did buy £8 cinema tickets through octopus to see film this weekend with hubby as it’s been ages and i mean years since we did pictures.(hence use of term pictures 🤣🤣)
need to find cheaper elec tarrif today and phone.
just applied for tsb account and aim to switch one of my other accounts to it to get the ££.
must change phone, daughter gets loads of data and roaming in eu for less than my
present contract and im out of contract now so must do that too and change energy tariff as im on agile and noticed peak hours have increased a lot recently so might be better off on another tarrif.
finding it tricky to find another provider that states how much they pay for solar.
    lots to do!!

£95 for new computer glasses and 2 pairs of readers, not interested in varifocal as present job is all off screen.
not loving new job to be honest and wondering wether to just become a self employed therapist.
i trained years ago as a beautician and was self employed for 15 years before changing careers.
my present job has a really good pension scheme but not sure if it will just be too stressful.
i get part of my nhs pension in 4.5 yrs anyway without any further work.
im gonna give this job a good 6 months then im going to think about the self employed bit.
i can always bank work while im getting my business off the ground.
i would need some capital to do some nail courses etc.
seriously thinking about it but I am older now, not sure about all this social media advertising you now need to do 😕
do people just want young therapists?
Bad news on daughter’s plans to work cruise, she needs an MRI of liver, we will pay for that privately if needed as the heptologist is at a loss why her liver results are so high.
    its a worry 😢
