So just 2 working days until I leave my job, 2 months was a long notice period but it’s flown by.
looking forward to a couple weeks off before starting new job.
on the £ front it’s not been so bad so should be overpaying £0% card this month.
Will see how much is left for mortgage.

Should have £500 this month left over this month, maybe a bit more as my mileage should be paid too.
car tax due and having holiday with daughter,
husband sold his old road bike so we have added that to holiday fund.
working on op 0% cc and add a little to mortgage.
can’t add much to mortgage as only got £450 left allowed from 10%
I have 1.5 days left at work
    cant wait ☺️
brother in law is going to help hubby do fence in garden so we will go and buy posts etc today, that will save a few quid doing it ourselves.
that will come from home improvement savings

So my clever hubby replaced the tap Sunday.
his dad had bought a new tap and never used it, free tap now installed in kitchen.
he you tubed how to do it 😛
then he decided to pull all the old fence panels out at back of house. He is now planning on doing fence with his brother in law.
£300 costs instead of £1600 quoted.
    he’s on a mission alright!
    patio to follow 😊☀️

Even better, that is a very nice looking tap!

Prices quoted these days are astronomical. I just don’t know how they’re justified. Following for pics 😊

I know everything has gone up so much.
i think it’s worth trying to learn how to do as much as possible to save money.
I think it gave him a huge sense of achievement and spurred him on to keep going!
he’s been out in garden again tonight clear away the brambles and weeds prior to putting fence up.
its on order to be delivered Friday

So I’ve finished work now until I start my job in August and typically the weather is rubbish!
meeting a friend today but aiming this week to do a big spring clean of house.
if it’s raining I guess that will help.
off to Majorca on Tuesday with daughter as she may be off soon on her cruise contract for 9 months.
    medical permitting 🤞
forgot to put mileage in last month so that will come in August pay, along with this months mileage plus backdated pay-rise from April.

This is the bottom of my garden when we first moved in.
We liked the open feel at the start but the brambles and weeds have started coming through hence putting fence up, decent fence either side so hopefully we can match it up at bottom.
grass is even worse now so that’s my future project, not worth doing too much until patio Is done really as that will take some of it away.
