So it’s a rainy old weekend by the looks of it and i needed to spend a little money today as I’ve run out of shampoo and styling products. I also needed descaler so got a few bits.
couple tops from next to complete my summer wardrobe. So spending today so far
    £52.99.
    budget remaining until 21st £977.44
    2 weeks remaining.
This weather isn’t conducive to saving.
can the sun come back please 🙏
daughters car looks like it needs a new starter motor but parts not in until next week now.
my brother in law takes a while to bill for things so it will probably come out of next months £
Did come home rather than eat out today so that’s saved some £
which helped offset hubby’s ticket for accidentally driving in bus lane.
The universe definitely wants our excess £ this month 🙄

So whilst it wasn’t exactly a £0 day it kinda was as I bought 3 tomato plants from a house down the road from me, i scrounged the £3 from my old penny jar, had to use all the 5p’s and a few 20p’s.
Forgot how much was in there. They will be so happy to see loads of 5ps, 😜sorry about that and all but I don’t carry cash anymore.
anyway they looked like nice plants and I needed to fill my planter up which I have.
    happy tomato growing days!!
hope to have lots of lovely tomatoes, I’m the only person who eats them but my daughter says she’ll make salsa if there is a glut of them.
maybe not with just 3 plants.
last lot of blinds being fitted tomorrow so that’s got to be paid but no more needed now.

So I’m awake early worrying about work, won’t be sad to see that worry go with new job, might be replaced with a new job anxiety for a bit but I’ll have more time off for running and looking after myself/house.
hopefully it will take the pressure off eventually.
would have aimed for £0 day today but blinds being fitted later.
i won’t be spending anything today personally though as I’m busy working.
will try and get out for a 2 mile walk later, weather dependent , weather app doesn’t predict rain so i should get out after work.
£972 budget left until 21st, 12 days left
blinds can’t come out of budget as that’s visa as blind guy doesn’t take card so it will come out of house saving pot, hopefully if we don’t spend budget this month I can replace saving money, if not I’ll use the £200 from nationwide.
luckily I have saving pot for car 🙄

£938 left of budget as I bought Costa coffee card, £5 free added so as I do occasionally go thought I’d get one.
today should be a £0 spend day too as I still have plenty of fuel in car.
work this week until Friday, this week having a different day off so I can attend a meeting.
you realise how much you need the day off.
things will be full on but should get better after Wednesday.
good news, daughters car was starter motor and not anything more sinister so she’s back up and running, hopefully that won’t put too huge a dent in my car saving pot 🤞

So yesterday was not a good day for spending and i treated myself and daughter to lunch.
she has her start date and contract for new job so that’s positive, she’s bored and was a bit low yesterday so getting out of the house and having a treat was worth it.
went for a run/ walk with hubby offset lunch a bit🤣
week 2 of couch to 5k completed, finding it hard to get motivated but hubby is helping me if I do it after work.
gone are the days I used to get up early for a run 😢
anyway as long as I’m doing it eh?
ankle is holding out but I’m really conscious about it as I’m running.
£808 left in budget and we have nationwide payout coming to so total will actually be £1008 when that comes in.
got a bit of a weird day today with work split between morning and later afternoon, will have a couple hours off late morning to offset late meeting.
travelled a lot this week so fuel has gone down, hopefully it will last til weekend but maybe not 😬
    we shall see?
today i will take daughter for a 2 mile walk if she’s bored 😑

So I’m not enjoying my split day? First visit was a bust and no one was home, had a walk with daughter avoiding cafe on route, now got to have early lunch before my afternoon meetings, it’s going to be interesting as I will need to make a professional challenge against someone as I don’t agree with the findings of their report or rather the action they recommended so I’m not looking forward to it, hey ho better just get on with it 🙄
