hub had to get petrol yesterday and i couldn’t resist some farm strawberries from local egg shed, they are amazing, even though they are more expensive we eat them all and don’t find half have to go in foodbin 😊
im aiming for £0 spend today and hopefully I’ll know how much wages is tomorrow.
    end of month budget tomorrow.
car actually had about 300 miles left in it so definitely should do me all week, depending on how many miles work requires, should be under though.

So my wages were better than expected as my tax has changed, they were collecting tax owed from last year but it seems that’s been paid. That helped so I should be able to bump house savings and pay £250 OP.
I don’t get wages til Friday but I always know a few days before how much I’m getting.
had £0 spend day yesterday as friends treated me as it was my birthday recently so that was nice.
today should also be £0 spends as on duty in office all day.
    Friday I’ll need petrol.
should get fuel allowance from work.
I’m hoping my work checks get done pronto as I’ve got 15 days before i really need to hand in notice, would like a few days off ideally before I start as the training is full time for 6-8 weeks.
I will be doing 22.5hrs and pick up extras.
Ive decided to look after myself as currently I’m trying to do everything, on top of almost full time job and I’m just unable to prioritise my health.

Hubby moved some money from his inheritance to OP another £5000 today so we are aiming to overpay another 10% soon.
    £955 left.
could have paid the whole 10% but I like to round down the numbers so they are even, definitely an OCD trait, also think I like overpaying every month.gives me a goal.

he also moved the last bit to saving as it was sitting in an account earning nothing.

that was driving me slightly mad but he came to his senses eventually.

Will keep making small overpayments until we get to the 10%

He probably listened to me because he wants to buy an expensive road bike 😛
he has already treated me to something lovely and always puts me first so I think he deserves something nice.

His parents house sale fell through so we have given sellers at bottom of chain 2 weeks to resell before we put it back on market.
i knew selling would be hard as it’s never easy. We will have to pay solicitors again but we are lucky ultimately to be blessed with this gift and it will sell eventually.

Hubby is finding it hard to find a bike that isn’t extortionately expensive, we are weary of anything which seems too good to be true and reading reviews about online bike places, seems there are a few bad companies out there.
He refuses to pay too much if he feels there is a bargain out there 😜
that’s why we get on so well 🤣🤣
£0 spend day today as I’m at a friends daughters baby shower.
not really my thing if I’m honest but that what friends are for.
power went out just after I’d cooked the cupcakes luckily 😬 but I’m gonna have to go to my friends to do my hair as the power is still out which is bloody annoying!!

tomorrow should be £0 too, that’s the aim.
im in city having lazer trt that’s already paid for.
will walk in and save parking.
put a bit more into saving as it’s payday for hubby.
paid a bit of September holiday off and will pay that monthly until it’s paid off.

So it’s absolutely tipping it down today, I’m hoping my weather app on phone is correct as it says the rain should stop about lunchtime, that’s when I hope to walk into city , fingers crossed as I hate paying for parking and I’d rather walk but even I can’t face walking in heavy rain

Put another £53 in mortgage this month as I put interest from Santander in and a little extra.
good news on nationwide front got 2x bonus coming so will put half of that in savings account and half towards holiday.
think I’ll put it in emergency savings/house fund rather than mortgage neutral savings.
handed in my notice on 30th, no response from manager yet but i feel it’s the right thing to have done.
counting down now my 2 months notice.
hubby’s parents house back on market so back to fun and games with that.
must do car boot as we have loads of bits to sell but it finding energy to do that, bloody hate car boots but it might be worth it??

So had a good week so far on spending front
No big outgoings planned this month.
wondering wether to now OP 0% card and reduce that as I can’t put too much more in mortgage, just little Over payments each month as about £900 left to pay and 11 mths to achieve it.
    plan
    Pay September holiday off first
make small OP on mortgage each month to round down total
to make larger OP on 0% cc, could just save money but this has got to be paid back eventually

Petrol yesterday was £40 but that should last most of next week, must put in my expenses claim today otherwise it won’t come in this mths pay.been so busy at work but today looks a bit better.
Later is shopping as usual Friday night, so will need to take that from monthly budget.
daughters car died yesterday though so my lovely Brother in law came and got it yesterday to take to his workshop so hopefully it’s not too expensive, luckily I save £150/mth in car expenses/tax etc account so have a bit tucked away for these things. Fingers crossed it does not make too much of a dent, may need to increase it to £200/mth.
i think I’ll stop wondering what to do with any extra £ as the universe soon sorts out that 😜
that’s probably where my nationwide bonus will go!
daughters not earning til July and she needs car for work.
anyway it’s nearly the weekend and I’m planning on weeding in laws garden as it’s rained, was gonna car boot but if it’s wet it won’t be worth it.
    sold some bits this week
    suitcases for a £10 yesterday
really must do that car boot!
Also in laws house has had no interest, estate agent said market is a bit flooded at moment so it’s a buyers market, i have noticed things hang around a bit so not hopeful we will sell this year.
meanwhile we will keep plodding on overpaying small bits of mortgage 😊
