So I put final £200.07 into account to pay off total 10% allowance into mortgage.
Thats all i can put in until May 12th now.
Aim to overpay total 10% next year too.
feeling good about decision.
£0 spend day yesterday.
spent from 10.30-3pm doing washing and cooking to utilise my -ve Agile energy yesterday
so that was fun thinking I was being paid to use electricity yesterday
Aim for 4 no spend days this week
think I might do my own feet for holiday as I used to be a beauty therapist and I have some feet peel treatments that need using up in draw.
and i have a uv lamp to cure gel and im due to see friends Friday night so having feet done would cut into that time. Will see if i have energy to do my feet, if i do them on my day off Wednesday then I’ll cancel my Fridays appointment

Just applied for new job, less £ to start but an opportunity to do my masters hopefully in time and increase in pay.
my present job feels a bit stagnant and there isn’t anywhere i want to professionally develop really.
hopefully i get an interview as i successfully interviewed a couple of years ago then turned it down.
its a big company so im sure they wont remember little ol me, hopefully 😜
currently using an old callus peel treatment on feet and I’ve filed my toe nails and done my cuticles. I’ll gel them this week myself and cancel my pedicure, I always feel I do a better job anyway, I was really good at feet and took pride in the polish, can’t find anyone really like that and it saves me a few quidMFW December 2026

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

So spoke to recruiter and they want to interview me next week which I can’t do as away but I asked for the following week which they have agreed so looking good.
so a colleague of mine who started at same time as me also got incentive that I got to start job, it turns out we shouldn’t have received it as we have worked at company in past so it looks like my September payment won’t be coming as they will look at everyone now. That’s made my decision to leave easier. I’m hoping they can’t ask for it back as it’s their mistake?MFW December 2026
