A good emergency fund and good planning will pay off going forward.

Look forward to when you have enough time to update your SOA.

Meanwhile take it easy with the new job.

You did an amazing job of pulling out of the nose-dive! You are all an impressive family. 😊

I think panic mode can hang around but in doing so it's trying to protect you. Would it help to make a (short) list of lessons learned and implemented, that you can use to keep yourself as efficient as possible and tell yourself its okay, you are doing these things?

Well it seems like whilst all my other lenders have started offering 0% offers and raising my credit limits, Barclarycard have taken a different approach and they are lowering my limit to just over what I currently owe them. 😡 I’m not annoyed because I want to spend more money, I’m annoyed because they are going to make my credit utilisation percentage worse making it less likely for me to get more 0% offers! To rub salt in the wound, looking at my credit report, Barclaycard are still reporting my balance on their card as being almost maxed out (from back in June), ignoring the lump sum and regular payments I’ve paid off, whereas all the others are showing more recent balances. As it happens I am just waiting for my latest balance transfer to complete and I was going to transfer £4000 from Barclaycard onto my Natwest 0% deal, but I almost don’t want to now if they are just going to keep dropping my credit limit. I might just take £1000 from Barclaycard (to look like I’m trying), and take the rest off MBNA who are now probably more likely to give me a 0% deal. I could understand if I was still maxed out or had missed any payments but why wait until I’ve paid so much off to start making my life harder?! Honestly it has completely put me off Barclaycard.

It doesn't seem logical, it's more as though they are a step behind on all fronts.
