I've moved this away from the help thread as I was hoping to keep those threads just for questions and clarifications.TimeLord1 said:Wouldn't surprise me that parcel lockers will be the only way to ship items soon.
I personally don't think ebay can go locker only - on a good day even my private sales would use up a lot of lockers - add to that the fact that even with Vinted having lockers as an option many lockers are routinely full and would be unworkable if more than one seller in the vicinity tried to send multiple parcels.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I rarely need to use one but whenever I try my most local locker is invariably full.soolin said:

Near my local store we had none 12 months ago now we have lockers and parcel boxes Evri and Yodel drop off it was just a Post Office but business has increased tenfold. But I check the app for the lockers to see when they're free. Also collecting you don't have to touch the screen using phone app.soolin said:

All well and good if collecting as the couriers empty the lockers before adding the items to be collected. Try finding 20 free lockers in one go to send a days parcels, and multiply that by a few dozen re sellers in the same area. I had inpost lockers about 100 yards from my house, but they were taken away and despite living in a busy Greater london area my next nearest are in the basement of a dark car park that closes in the evening. If that one is full my next ones are a car ride away. Before Christmas I often had to try 2 days running to send my whole lot of Vinted items.TimeLord1 said:

Well I await tomorrow with bated breath.I expect at midnight all private listings to be magically transformed into ones with buyer protection fees (not really) and to have EBay to myself as all those complaining sellers end their listings….1

Nothing is going to happen tomorrow seeing as it will only be the 3rd of Feb 😉RedImp_2 said:Well I await tomorrow with bated breath.I expect at midnight all private listings to be magically transformed into ones with buyer protection fees (not really) and to have EBay to myself as all those complaining sellers end their listings….0 -

Now ditched eBay yesterday as I've had enough of all their silly changes.0 -
As a business seller it is disappointing that this hasn’t happened overnight. The new changes will occur over a number of weeks, starting with the electronics category first. Still, I have not found any visual changes to pricing in this category just yet. Hopefully in the coming days and weeks business sellers will see the changes take effect and give us half a chance of being able to compete with the fee-free brigade0
