Where on earth did you find the first pattern?? IS IT A POSSUM TAROT? I am obsessed. [Also welcome!]
It is it's part of a massive tarot pattern by The Witchy Stitcher. I'm way behind on it as for some crazy reason I decided to complete the frame first, but the whole thing is HUGE! The frame alone was 14,692 stitches!

Sometimes it is hard to engage with a project. Started this mermaid in Feb 24, and picked it back up again in Feb 25. My aim is to finish this summer……. And not start another project until it is finished!
@tinkerbelluk - Oh dear, looks like I know what is being added to my wish list!
@JessyM - I know the feeling! It can be such a slog, I am definitely on the struggle bus with mine at the moment. Be glad to see the back of it, while I can still appreciate how pretty it is going to be, I also shudder when I think how much is left to do! It's going to be for my friends birthday at the end of May so I have a strict deadline to adhere to!

Hi sorry that I’ve not been on here recently but my 92 year old mum was having problems with her health, her asthma was playing up and her legs began to swell and leak so she had them bandaged up but sadly 4 weeks ago mum passed away in her sleep. Her funeral was Monday this week and as you can imagine it’s been a very difficult time.
I've not picked up my patchwork since I’ve last been on here as I’m not really in the mind for it but hopefully I will be soon.
I am so sorry Teaparty_mum. As a memory maybe you could make a patchwork cushion from some of your mums material from clothes etc ( depending on how close you were).
