Hello all,
Hope you had a lovely Christmas Day! I received a wooden yarn bowl from DS2 which is fab. No other crafting gifts which tbh I'm quite glad about as have a lot of stash that I need to work through.
Will be starting the 2026 thread shortly - need to think about a list of goals for 2026. I too enjoy this thread @Auti as it allows a little window into what others are making, plus the online friendship and encouragement is priceless.
Meant to ask you @nmm - how would I got about making a post box topper? We have a little postal box mounted on a post in the village which I'd like to decorate. Just wouldn't have a clue how to go about it! Thought you might be the best on here to advise, but happy to take any hints and tips from other crafters!!
Have a good Boxing Day all
Coxy xx

I would make the base first so measure how big it needs to be, is it rectangle or circle? i would do either granny square clusters or just double crochet (us term), we use cable ties to attach them. When are you planning on putting it out, will it be a special occasion, or like spring/summer etc
Happy new year ladies, the crafty gifts sound lovely. A lady at K&N got gifted a crochet christmas tree kit, so asked me to make it for her, which i will complete this weekend.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet: Lakeside Cardigan0
