Hi all,
Lovely finish @Charly27 and hope you managed to find a hoop to frame it in. Did you gift it straightaway or is it for Christmas?
I haven't done much since I last posted. Did buy a beautiful handmade patchwork quilt in a CS for £9.99 when I was away in Suffolk a few weeks ago. Have put it in the conservatory on our Lloyd Loom chair until I decide what to do with it. Could not make it for that price (and don't have the skills).
Is anyone up for doing a Christmas Card Exchange this year? @Auti has messaged me about it, so I said I'd ask. I'm happy to co-ordinate again. Let me know by end of October so I can sort who is sending to who.
Hope everyone is doing okay

Popping in to say hello as I’ve not been here for a while. Sadly I lost my brave mum back in march and I just couldn’t face finishing off the patchwork that I started when my mum was ill.
Ive started doing cross stitch and I’m enjoying it. I’m not great at it but it’s relaxing.Trying to change my life and will:money:1 -
Hello Teaparty_mum - cross stitch is fun and neither am I very good at it but I find it very fun. Though at the moment I am busy knitting a jacket for the chillier months
then I will be back to the stitching - only have one sleeve and the borders to knit. 1 -

I’m actually loving doing it, I’m using a printed canvas at the moment as I’m not brave enough to do it without a picture to followTrying to change my life and will:money:0

Hello everyone. Can I firstly say so sorry to hear about your loss @Teapartymum. Go gently with yourself as your world shifts to encompass your grief.
Glad you’re finding cross stitch therapeutic. I gifted love cats straight away @Coxy11 as it was so late anyway! Now just started next project which is a four seasons one for a friend. I have marked the grid with dressmaker pencil this time. So will let you know how it works out 🤞🏻Will let you know about CCE.‘One of our greatest freedoms is how we react to things’ said Mole.Cross stitch cafe TaDa Enjoy the Little Things &Love cats, ‘A Year in the Life of’ HSC July-December and The Seasons graphic sampler. Right where to start, a little while back my dad died, we were not close so i'm ok, then a week later his brother died, then a few weeks later my mum's partner of 25 years died. Lots of loss in a short space of time i went to the last funeral to support my mum. We've also had a holiday in LLandudno and just been working alot. Everything is settling back down now, thankfully.
I finished the birth sampler first picture before babs, 2nd finished

I will post the bollard toppers in the next postCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:1 -
The bollard toppers were a huge success, unfortunately some mindless kids destroyed quite a few but the ladies who make them have already starting repairing them, ready for next year. This is a video on FB for those that can view it https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1FgMDYUTZU/
