Blah I’ve just lost a post. Sorry for whingeing on getting a STS. Just frustrated that I’m going round in circles and even having small gains although I’m sticking to plan, doing food diaries for the consultant to check, and everything that needs weighed and measured, is 🤣. I’ll keep plodding, it’s got to go eventually!

I didn’t go overboard yesterday as much as I wanted! I did have crisps but no fancy coffee or cake when I met my friend.  We had silverside for dinner earlier with onion gravy, roast potatoes and loads of veg. Delicious and stuffed now 😁

I think some Percy Pigs are called for. 🐷

Maybe you should try some @Jellybaby. IIRC they seemed to do the trick last time @bubbs didn't lose despite staying on plan. 🤔🤣

Afternoon all, another lovely day here (at the moment!) although forecast to cloud over later and then showery overnight and into tomorrow.  Glad I managed to get 2 loads washed and dried yesterday.

Did a tip run this morning but when we got there were told no wood skip available and that's some of what we had so told to come back a couple of hours later!  So we went over to the new Range store and managed not to buy anything!  Also did a bit of shopping so won't need to go tomorrow.

    Today's plan:

    B - weetabix, milk, blueberries - HEA2; HEB; S
    L - minced beef hash - P; S; F
    D - Ham, egg, chips, beans - P; F; followed by fruit and yoghurt - S; F

    HEA1 & 2 - milk
    HEB - Weetabix
    Syns - couple of biscoff - 4

    Have a good day everyone.

I'd love to come to yours for dinner tonight @joedenise, love my egg and chips!😋

We've had an appointment system at our local tip since Covid that usually works really well. DH went to take some extra garden waste (mostly we manage with fortnightly collections) on Friday but there was a queue out onto the road. They gave him a tip (excuse pun😉) to go towards the end of your appointed half hour rather than the beginning so we'll try that next time. Glad you managed to offload the scrap wood eventually.👍🏼

The Range is a strange store. They have some nice things and a load of tat as well. 😁 I've had some reasonably priced lampshades and mirrors from there in the past and they have a small Iceland inside our local shop which is useful as our local store closed as the lease ended.

Apparently, Lid start off the veg wars tomorrow although I think the other stores are starting Wednesday. As @bubbs posted, the choices are very similar in all the stores and I'll probably stick with Aldi and Sainsbury's as that's where I mostly shop. I want to get swede and carrots to make mash and plenty of potatoes to store. I will buy some broccoli and spring onions too but just enough for a week or so.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, bacon, eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA1 milk for drinks
L- ham (P), LO veg and pickles (F,S)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P,S,F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

I should have said our local tip is also by appointment but not much use when you can't actually get rid of what you've taken!

Our new Range isn't a very big one and doubt very much we'd get an Iceland in it as there is a Food Warehouse not far away - about a 5 minute walk - takes just as long in a car due to the traffic!

Morrisons have already started with the reduced veg - looks like it's only carrots, swede and parsnips but only 8p each.  I got swede and carrots.  Planning on making some swede and carrot mash but need to make a bit of space in the freezer first!
