Morning all (but only just!).  Weather has been cloudy/sunny alternately all morning but again still very cold.  Just doing a machine load of washing now it's sunny again but won't bother hanging it out until tomorrow as it would only get a couple of hours before I'd need to bring it in and there's absolutely no breeze at all so it would just be hanging there and not drying very much.  Would rather just leave it until tomorrow so it gets at least a few hours on the line before having to bring it in and hopefully it will be dry!

Have been defatting a Kg of lamb chunks - lost about 10% overall so not too bad for lamb.  Have got the lamb chunks marinading in a dish in the fridge with HM tagine spice mix but unfortunately that's the last of it and I can't find the recipe I used before so going to have to try a new one when I cook the tagine tomorrow - only use half the mix to marinade and then use more spices when cooking.  I'm planning on doing and lamb and chickpea tagine for dinner tomorrow but need to get my chickpeas cooked - they are currently soaking so hopefully will get them cooked this afternoon ready to be used tomorrow.

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette - P; S
    L - gammon and mustard sandwich - HEB; P; 3
D - Fakeaway KFC, chips, corn on the cob, mixed leaves - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - LF spread 2; mustard 1; may have a G&T or 2 later as well!

    Have a good day everyone.

I didn’t mean to send the last post so soon 😂😂
Today I’m out for tea and going to see a Temptations tribute band so I’m really looking forward to it. Not sure where we’re eating but it could well be one from the Lounge chain. They used to do quite a nice salad there so hopefully it’s still on the menu. I know some salads aren’t that particularly low syn so will peruse the menu carefully. I do know we have a bottle of Prosecco pre ordered at the theatre (I’m being treated by a friend) so I don’t want to go too mad.
Breakfast - mushroom omelette 1 syn 1/2 teaspoon butter
dinner hea and heb cheese and beans on toast….i want something filling so I don’t go too mad later.
    Have a lovely Friday folks

    Afternoon all

Belated happy birthday! @maman your meals sound lovely.

Having the outside of the house cleaned and workman been here since 8.30am. I’m on coffee and bacon rolls duty 😁 and the house is looking great!  I’ve been busy on the inside cleaning out drawers in the kitchen. Twelve teaspoons of differing shapes and design??!

Made ham salad rolls with a bowl of tomato soup for lunch. Only had fruit and yoghurt for breakfast
so it hit the spot nicely.  I’m on my own for dinner so might just have a veggie omelette and finish off the salad.   Fingers crossed for a decent loss tomorrow!

A belated Happy Birthday to you @maman 🥳🥂🍻🥳 The meal sounds fab 😊

Well done on your loss and SOTE @milann - that’s some haul!!

We were up early doors today as DH had to take delivery of a skip at the school at 7am. I decided to get up and shower whilst he was over there and we headed off to local market town for 9am. Just needed some veggies - got a large cauliflower, a bundle of caverlo Nero and two flat mushrooms for less than a fiver. Also needed some toiletries from the (tiny) B00ts but luckily they had everything I needed in stock.

Back home for lunch then an afternoon with DSis watching the BJ movie.

    Food today:
    B - fruit n fibre, blueberries, 0% vanilla yogurt HEB, S, 1
L - orzo, sundries tomatoes, red/yellow pepper, feta, red onion, red wine vinegar dressing, apple - Free, 2.5, S, HEA
D - Aldi skinny sausages, golden savoury rice, tender stem broccoli, skinny bar - 5.5, free, S
    HEA - milk
    Syns - 9

    Have a good evening all

Thanks for the good wishes for my birthday. So far all celebrations were concentrated into the one day but I had planned on a fish supper as well so need to fit that in before next WI.

🤞for a good result tomorrow @Jellybaby and you too @bubbs

I've not seen skinny sausages in my Aldi for ages @Coxy11 but the Sainsburys BGTY Cumberland sausages are price matched at the moment so I've been buying them.

Enjoy your evening @milann. As wine syns go, Prosecco is a really good choice. 👍

I dried two loads on the line today @joedenise. I think it was cold rather than damp when it came in about 4pm so in the airing cupboard to finish off. Nice, clean bed tonight. 😴

I did have a couple of tsps of mustard yesterday with the ham hash but DH kindly finished off the birthday cake.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P), mushrooms (S)
    L- LO ham hash and pickles (P, S, F)
    D- sausage casserole (P, S), pasta (F)
Syns - BGTY sausages 2, weekend wine 😁
