I think we've done really well with the small gains over Christmas. It just goes to prove that you can enjoy the holidays as long as you get back to plan ASAP. 👋👏👏
Like you @bubbs, I went into Christmas right at the bottom of target range but I'm really feeling like the proverbial hippo now. Anyway, I'm going to enjoy the rest of the weekend and then get back properly on Monday.
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, bacon, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- sausage casserole with penne (P, S, F)
Syns - BGTY sausages 2, half Crunchie 3, weekend wine and any Christmas chocolates I hoover up later. 🤣0 -

Hello all. Checking in very late today before bed. I’ve lost track of syns through not properly measuring (as was making a nice date night dinner) but going to check in anyway!Brunch - beans on wholemeal toast with cheese
(HEA 30g cheddar / HEB 2 small wholemeal bread slices)
Snack - banana
Dinner - prosciutto wrapped pork fillet stuffed with feta/spinach/sun dried tomato, roast baby potatoes and broccoli - date night special - turned out sooo good!(HEA - feta - but I didn’t accurately measure the olive oil and sun dried tomato plus there are syns in prosciutto. Looking at the numbers in the planner I’m estimating around 8 syns for the meal?)
Medium glass white wine - 8.5 syns
So maybe about 16-18 for the day which isn’t terrible tbf!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

That's really good on syns for a special meal @Bluegreen143 and as you've moved your WI day to Friday you've got plenty of week left to balance them out. 👍🏼
Today's my last day of eating Christmas treats. I'll have the last few of my own chocolates tonight (marzipan and cherry liqueurs😋) and DH can have the rest. I'm out for lunch tomorrow but the group of friends I'm seeing only ever have something light. They'll have baguettes or similar but I'm planning a JP with beans and cheese so won't be synful and as I'm driving I won't be having anything alcoholic either.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs, bacon (P)< baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- ham salad (P,S,F)
D- roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns- LTL mayo 1, gravy 4, weekend wine and chocolates😁0 -
Hope you enjoyed the last of your Christmas treats Maman!Today:
B - fat free Greek yoghurt, banana, maple syrup
(1 syn for maple syrup)
L - pesto pasta, feta
(HEA for the feta, 3 syns for pesto)
D - pulled chicken & black bean burrito bowls, cheese, salad, WW wrap
(HEA for the cheddar, HEB for the wrap)
S - went to the cinema, had a couple handfuls of DH’s sweet and salty popcorn and two of the 15g green and black mini chocolate bars. 8 syns for the chocolate and I’m going to generously estimate 3 for the popcorn as I really didn’t have much.Total syns - 15
EDIT - rats, forgot DH had also bought me a tiny pack of veggie sushi from Tesco to sneak into the cinema when he was getting his popcorn (bless him, sounds random but I think he wanted to find me something healthy but treaty!). Checked in the app and it’s only 0.5 syn so that’s 15.5 ish for the day.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

I’m hoping I can rejoin you lovely people on here. I’ve been doing SW for years with varied amounts of success. I’ve been at target twice but for well over a year have been on a sea-saw…..1lb on 1 lb off. I changed groups hopefully that’d give me the boost I needed. It didn’t. I think my trouble is now I’m retired I just eat out too much, we also have a Motorhome and although I take food and have good intentions we inevitably go into ‘holiday mode’ and all good intentions go out of the window. I’ve wasted so much money.I want to initially loose a stone but in reality it needs to be at least 2.
My main motivation is that I want to enjoy life…..to do that I need to stay healthy as I’ve had some big problems in the past. And I want to get into clothes that won’t go anywhere near me.I weighed myself this morning and have stayed the same since mid December when I was last at group. I’m going to give it a go myself without going to group, so hopefully I can rejoin you lovely folk on here.I’ve started well
Breakfast - porridge and berries. I didn’t weigh it though but it looked roughly the same (will do better next time)
dinner - jacket with 30 g cheddar, diced ham, onion and tomato.
tea - not decided yet…..but something homemade from the freezer with rice or pasta. 2 syn max for cornflour.
snacks - to be decidedJanuary spends - £587.581 -

👋🏼@beanielou, but I think you meant @milann.😁
Good to see you posting @milann. I think you've done really well to STS since mid December.👏🏼 You obviously know the plan inside out so shouldn't have any problems going it alone. Just shout if you need any syn values and we'll look them up for you. You're definitely doing the right thing by trying to lose weight and eat healthily at the same time.
I empathise with the eating out and holiday mode. I find it best to eat as low syn as I possibly can on 'normal' days to give a bit of leeway for restaurant meals and weekends.
I think today's lunch will have been syn free. I didn't eat the butter pat that came with it and didn't notice any dressing on the salad garnish.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA1milk for drinks
L- JP, baked beans(F), HEA2 cheese, salad garnish (S)
D- cold chicken (P), SW chips (F) roast veg and broccoli (S)
