Glad you and DH have made up weekendsaway.

I forgot to add my weight to the app so weighed in this morning and I’m already more than 1lb down again. It does seem to be true that after a period of binging the excess water weight seems to come off quickly. I’ll use today as my official weigh in - 11st 2.5lb (3.5lb higher than before Christmas) - and will enter that in the app. I’ve been wanting to switch to Friday weigh ins rather than Thursday so that works out fine.

Got a couple of different free lunch options in the fridge, and dinner will be curry/rice so it’s nice to know I can use HEs for breakfast - think I’ll have a bowl of porridge as it’s cold and snowy outside!

    Hi all,

Have a lovely time away @joedenise!  I’ve still a few weeks to go before I’m off on my jaunt and currently running about like a headless chicken trying to put plans in place for the parents without them finding out too much 😂 (only because they will try and scupper any plans) 🙈

Good everything is fine @weekendsaway always good to laugh.

I can’t say I’m looking forward to weigh in tomorrow! Plans have gone straight out the window this week for one reason for another and when DS2 suggested an Indian lunch while we were in town today, well what can I say, would have been rude to refuse 😜 A gain is definitely on the cards.

Have a great holiday @joedenise and hope you enjoy wearing your new clothes. I think you've done really well this week. O.4lbs wouldn't even register on SW scales. 🤣

Good luck with WI tomorrow @bubbs and @Jellybaby. Just expect the worst and hope for the best. 🤞

I went to the Company Shop today @bubbs. No great bargains that I wanted but I did get a number of things off my shopping list at better prices than Aldi. I treated us to a chicken and leek M&S ready meal which we had tonight for 5.5 syns. It was very nice and I'm sure I could make it myself.

Aldi had some good reductions. 5% mince was 30%off and I picked up a pack of 3% fat for half price. I was pleased with that as I used the last mince from the freezer when DD2 asked for lasagne when they visited last weekend.

I think Friday is a good day for WI @Bluegreen143. Have a good week.

    Today's food -
B- HEB porridge, berries (S), banana (F), HEA milk
    L- sardine salad (P, S), lentil soup (P, S)
    D- chicken meal (P, S), hassleback potatoes (F), veg (S)
    Syns - LTL mayo 1,ready meal 5 5, more Christmas goodies 😁

Sorry to hear you're feeling rough @beanielou. Hope you pick up soon. 🤗

Thought of you today. They had a M&S haggis ready meal in the Company Shop. Do you like it? 🤔

Have you got a SC place for the shut down @bubbs? Is the ice cream maker going with you? 🤔😁

    Thanks maman.

I don’t mind haggis very occasionally. Once or twice a year is fine!
