Weighed in this morning to 2lb off this week, very happy with that.I’m going to my friend’s for drinks tonight so may be a bit over with wine syns, but will eat sensibly all day to limit the damage. The curry was nice, quite mild but my 6yo won’t eat spicy food at all yet so it works for us. My 9yo is becoming adventurous at trying new spicy food but I don’t think he’d eat a whole portion of spicy curry. He is the age where him and his friends will dare each other to have a spoon of hot sauce etc though and he likes spicy crisps 🤣.Part time working mum of DS (2015) and DD (2018).

Well done on your losses @Bluegreen143 and @joedenise. It's a great feeling!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Enjoy your evening with your friend @Bluegreen143. Having extra syns on WI day is by far the best option as you have all the week to try and claw them back.
I'd certainly be happy to have a mild curry if it meant the whole family could be fed. It must be much harder to do SW if you make different meals for different people especially at dinner time.
I wouldn't worry about the exercise either. Of course, it's good for you in all sorts of ways but it's the healthy food that makes the main difference to weightloss.
That's quite a big loss for you @joedenise. Excellent! I know you'll gain on your holiday but it's well worth staying on plan when you can. We're having salmon too tonight!🤣
I think I'll move my WI day to a Friday going forward. It'll suit me to call into the GP surgery when I'm on my way to the supermarket. I'll need to adjust to weighing after lunch rather than early morning but it's best to have a regular pattern. My plan is to just do 'good when I can' for the next month and then weigh in the new year .
I'm surprised how relatively low syn corned beef can be. I've put corned beef hash on the meal plan for this coming week and the Aldi (YS) pack that I have is just 1 syn per slice and a pack is plenty shared between the two of us.
Corned Beef | ALDI UK
Good idea to use the pork mince for the cottage pie @bubbs. I often mix it with beef and we really enjoy the turkey meatballs. Even better if the mince is YS!😁
Just think @milann how good you'll feel when you can get into those 'snug' dresses in the wardrobe. I don't go to very many black tie events either so I really don't want to have to buy any more which is another good reason for watching my weight with SW.👍🏼
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- ham (P), vegetable hash from leftovers (F,S), pickles (S)
D- salmon (P), SW chips (F), stir fry veg (S)
Syns- weekend wine😁1 -
Well done @Bluegreen143 on your 2lb loss. That's a good loss.
Change of plan for lunch and a couple of syns saved! I'd forgotten there was a pack of smoked salmon in the fridge so we had that with cucumber instead of the corned beef.
I've planned a corned beef hash so will probably use all of it in that rather than saving some to have a sandwich - but will say how I feel when it comes to making the hash!

Hi all,
Was AWOL yesterday. Had to go in search of more paint and ended up following a funeral cortege of horse-drawn carriage carrying a tiny blue coffin. Certainly put a lot of things into perspective and really upset us both
Hallway, stairwell and landing now fully painted thank the lord.
Food was good yesterday, ending with a sausage and rosemary risotto (DH's choice).
I'm off out in a little while to do a two hour walk with DSis. We have a charity walk a week on Sunday and need to route check. My first time walking a fair distance for a while, so I'm looking forward to it.
Welcome back @Bluegreen143 - good to see you xx
Well done on the losses @Bluegreen143 and @joedenise xx

Evening all,
Well done on the losses @joedenise and @Bluegreen143 . Hope it stayed dry for your walk @Coxy11I’m off shortly to a wedding reception and decided at the last minute to stay over. The hotel room was actually cheaper than a taxi home! Managed to get to another group this morning before the shopping routine and was happy with one pound off.
I’ll be off plan until tomorrow lunchtime 😁0 -
Have a good evening @Jellybaby and enjoy your breakfast! 😁0

I’m not surprised the tiny coffin upset you Coxy…..like you say puts life into perspective.I’ve had quite a good day on plan today.Breakfast - heb toast with marmite and butter 4 syns.
Late dinner/early tea - Hm burger, bun 6 syns, salad and actifry chips 1 1/2 syns
Snacks - banana, apple hea milky coffee
daim bar chocolate 1/2 syn
My gdd loves sweets called Peelerz. I’d never tried them so today was today. I had mango flavoured ones. They were delicious. I couldn’t find syn value anywhere….I could happily munch through a bagful, but stopped at 2 sweets. So if anyone has come across the sun value I’d be grateful 👍January spends - £587.580 -

So sad about the funeral cortege @Coxy11. You're so right about what that family must be going through compared to our every day ups and downs. 🤗
Sorry but couldn't find your satay snack pot on the app. If you have the food values then I'll put it through the checker. Same with the sweets @milann. 🤔1
