Hello all… long time no see and I’m creeping back on here as have rejoined SW! Hope you are all well!Current weight 11st 4, weighing on Fridays, aiming for at least 2st off.Today I had:B - fat free Greek yog, banana, mixed chopped nuts, maple syrup - healthy extra B + 1 syn for maple syrupL - slimming world lunch ready meal of sweet & sour chicken noodles - I got a couple of different lunch pots for the freezer last week for emergency lunches, thinking the office etc. Was ok, not amazing, and not very filling! - freeD - made chicken fajitas but only ate 2/3 of my one (slimming world) wrap. I’d had a stressful afternoon & evening and didn’t feel hungry at dinner as I was still so frazzled and het up 🙁 - healthy extra A + B, estimate 1 syn for oil to cook the chicken as it served five of us and I didn’t eat a lot.S - Was then starving this evening after eating so little all day but happily had loads of syns left so enjoyed a bag of skips & a Milky Way - 8 synsMaple syrup, olive oil, Skips, Milky Way - 10 syns total
HEA - reduced fat cheddar
HEB - chopped mixed nuts, slimming world wrap30 min walk (morning school run)
** Note, I’ve started occasionally having 2 Bs and 1 A if it fits my meal plan later as I know that will be allowed under the new rules anyway. Or maybe the nuts would be the new healthy fats HE anyway!Part time working mum of DS (2015) and DD (2018).

Morning all, up early this morning. Always the same if I have an earlier night than usual. Think I prefer going to bed later and getting up later! Really don't like these dark mornings in the winter when I get up this early. Having said that it's quite nice having a bit of quiet time without DH whose still in bed (that's very unusual too!)
Welcome back @Bluegreen143. I would suspect that nuts will come under the new healthy fats list rather than HEB. I we going to be calling them HEFs, LOL!
@bubbs - Hope you managed to get your listings done last night after the ban, or perhaps have to get them done this morning as it is definitely more than 24 hours now.
Doesn't seem that long ago since your last shutdown - it seems to come round really quickly every year. At least the beef won't be wasted as you can put it in the freezer ready for next weekend instead. Enjoy your meal with family instead. Also means you won't have to cook or wash up!
Well done @maddiemay, that's a good loss particularly with your various food issues. You've done well to work round the issues. The beef madras recipe is on the website not in one of the books, at least I don't think it's in any of the books! If it is it's not one I've spotted and I've got most of the PON books.
Today's plan:
B - Toast, marmalade - HEB; 2
L - stuffed peppers - HEA2; S; F (made too much couscous last night so using it up!)
D - butter chicken, rice, mango chutney - P; S; F; 6.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - marmalade 2; butter 5; mango chutney 1.5
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all,
Well done on the loss @maddiemay 🥳
Welcome back @Bluegreen143 👋
I’ve been in organising mode this morning - from sorting parents prescriptions (again 🙈) to arranging for the guttering to be cleaned and everything in between! Thanks for the info on veg wars @bubbs I’ve cleared space in the inside freezer and have switched on the small garage freezer in readiness 😁 I’m planning to start with the meat deals and Christmas bits from tomorrow’s shopping trip.
I’m about to have tomato and red pepper soup with a cheese and ham toastie HEB/A with pickles for brunch and we’re having homemade smoked haddock fish cakes with roasted veg for dinner.
Hope you’re all having a good day.0 -
Where has the week gone again.
It’s been a busy one with several meals out and trip to a couple of shows 😀 I’m trying to focus of free and speed food in between the outings….which also may have included mulled wine 🥂. Anyway whatever I’ve done has served me well. I’m now slap bang on the stone…..I’m determined to loose 1/2 this week to get into the next bracket. I know I say it every week….but it’s getting closer 👍😂
I've been thinking about the new SW regime….it feels as if they’ve gone full circle as when I started you could have ( I think it was a tablespoon) of olive oil as heb. Anyway I’m just going to continue what I’m doing….focus on free, speed and the hea/b as they are now and reduce the UPF I have.I’ve been having a blitz of my wardrobe contents…..I have some clothes I’ve never worn as they feel a little too snug and some nice dresses I’ve not worn for years….Christmas party dresses which I laughingly call my cruise dresses. Will I ever use them… I don’t go to that sort of party any more - I cba putting them on pre loved clothes sites…..if I get rid it can be my contribution to a charity.
Mamam the birthday meal for your DD2 sounded lovely.
Well done on the wattsap group Bubbs……sound like a great encouragement.
JoeD….do you do the rice pudding in the slow cooker….I haven’t made one for ages.
Teh char Sui recipe sounds delicious Coxy….my favourite from the Chinese with bean sprouts .January spends - £587.580 -
Well done on the loss to get to the even stone. Good luck with shifting some to get into the lower stone bracket @milann.
Olive oil was HEB when I started too - you're right it was 1 Tbs.
I tried a rice pudding in the SC once but didn't seem to work very well so generally cook it in the bottom of the oven when I'm using the oven. I've bought the almond milk but no idea when I'm going to make a rice pudding as realised when I was putting the shopping away that I don't have any pudding rice! Suppose I could do it with basmati but think it's probably better with pudding rice.

Thanks Joedenise. I did wonder about the rice pudding in the slow cooker. I’m the opposite 😂 I found pudding rice when I sorted my cupboards last week😂January spends - £587.580

Evening all 😁
My ban was lifted last night 👏👏
Denise i have done rice pudding in the slow cooker, only ever do that and pulled pork in mine, don't like other food done in it. The rice pudding goes reall creamy in it.
I don't mind cooking and have a dish washer 🤣
I know shutdown soon rollls round!
Welcome back Bluegreen 😁
Jell meat offers are coming thick and fast now, tesco and asda, leg of lamb is half price i think in asda, also pork and beef.
Food today, picky plate , half hexb, no pic as was using phone to write orders out and if i lose m place i scream 🤣🤣
"cottage pie" made with pork mince, honestly by the time, stock pots, onions and flavourings added can't sell and about £4 a packet cheaper than beef! 4 syns for gravy

Well done on your loss @maddiemay. Well worth the effort you've had to put in. 👏👏👏
Great to see the round stone @milann and good luck getting that new number next week. Do your best. 👍
Good to see you posting again @Bluegreen143. Oddly enough I'm just starting to go it alone after 14 years but if it motivates you to go to a group then go for it. 😊
Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, blueberries (S), banana (F), HEA milk
L- Spanish omelette (P, S, F), beetroot (S)
D- chicken dinner (P, S, F)
Syns - gravy 40 -
Thanks for the welcomes everyone! Maman, I’m not in group but using the app. No time to get along to one as every evening is a different kids’ club 🤣.A good day on plan before weigh in tomorrow AM.B - fat free Greek yog, maple syrup (1), chopped mixed nuts (HE), banana
L - tuna pasta made with light mayo (2) & fat free yoghurt, red onion and sweetcorn plus 1 cheesestring (which is 1/2 HE - I only had one left in the pack)
D - pinch of nom chicken tikka masala with rice and with cauliflower/spinach added in - free
S - Milky Way (5)
HE - 1.5 (nuts & 1 cheesestring)
Syn - 8 (maple syrup, light mayo, Milky Way)
No exercise today as I slept in a bit and was too rushed in the morning to walk the school run and it was pouring with rain come 3pm pick up time so I took the car again.Part time working mum of DS (2015) and DD (2018).

Morning all, it's another dry day forecast but it's looking quite wet outside so assume we must have had some rain last night - it's too wet to be dew. It's also quite breezing so probably quite a good drying day but for a change no washing to do!
Good luck for WI tomorrow @Bluegreen143. You seem to be sticking to plan really well so no reason for you not to get a loss. I wouldn't worry about not getting any exercise yesterday as no doubt you do a bit of exercise everyday indoors with housework! I very rarely do any exercise apart from some housework and walking around the shops when I go shopping!
I've not tried the PON chicken tikka masala. Was it very mild? We like a bit of heat/taste with curries so probably too mild for us but good for you with having kids. Only one of my two will go anywhere near a curry! The eldest doesn't like any spice and that includes pepper (both black pepper and sweet peppers!) as she says they're too spicy!
I weighed this morning and have lost 1.2lb so now less than 2lb over top end of range. Really hoping I can shift that before we go on holiday in just over 2 weeks time but we'll have to see!
Today's plan:
B - cheese omelette - HEA2; P
L - corned beef sandwich, pickled onions - HEB; S; 3.5
D - baked salmon, chips, purple sprouting broccoli - P; S; F (got the PSB YS'd in Tesco's yesterday)
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - LF spread 1.5; corned beef 2; may have a couple of G&Ts tonight 6
Have a good day everyone.0
