@Rosa_Damascena - lovely video and the hand gestures of the conductor in the background did make me giggle.
Suggest you make this No-Churn Bitter Orange Ice Cream instead to avoid turning the oven on. I've been having a holiday from baking because of the heat and buying various different supermarket biscuits to taste test instead and have found that the M*rks extra filling bourbons aren't really as nice as you think they're going to be which was interesting.7 -

Was hoping to find one either in a chazza or at a car boot just as a try out but no luck. Might have to go to a *gulp* proper shop

I had a good purchase at the charity shop on Saturday. All the usual ones were closed so popped into the hospice and bought a Musto cotton long sleeved mans shirt for £4 - I was not bothered about the brand, I just wanted a good quality cotton shirt and this fit the bill.6

Not a charity shop find but a free item. I was walking past a house that had a skip in the garden. On the grass verge were a couple of free items. I saw pretty coloured glass and found a beautiful hand blown glass vase. I was on my dog walk so I picked it up and put it in a dog poo bag. I could sell it on eBay but I liked it too much to do that13

I saw this & idly wondered what people’s favourite bags are worth.

That said, I wouldn’t know what the Dickens a “White Himalaya Niloticus Crocodile Diamond Retourne Kelly 28” was, even if you were to wallop me around the head with one.8 -

I saw a review from an influencer who had an Hermes Birkin and a Channel 55 both of which cost silly money, and she said she really wished she had not bought the Hermes. It is the most impractical bag she has ever owned but kept it for swish events. Her go to every day was the 55 or a Sezanne one. So top tip there if you are debating on what to go for.6

@DigForVictory my fave bag is priceless, it was the one my husband bought me when we were courting.

Um, my goto handbag is a NATO surplus Bergan.
I would only recognise a Hermes bag if you paused to identify it to me before you walloped me with it.
A bag “for swish events”? So far, my male minder’s pockets have been ample. (I live a very simple life, apart from the Denby. The handbag software was never installed. I’m not sure if that’s a blessing or a curse but the “given whilst courting” makes a lot of sense as once that wonderful man realised a teacup with the right basestamp got a more heartfelt croon than a bouquet, he kept a well read eye open too!)8
