@Miró - thankyou for letting me know I'm not alone in my photo woes. Lovely photos of the ducklings and I'm enjoying the name suggestions too.7

The duckling pictures make me so happy!
A busy morning out and about running errands. In Kidlington I bought a pretty M&S turquoise sheer tunic with beaded V neckline (I assume it is meant to wear on a beach over your swimsuit) but handily there was also a white cotton camisole top which will protect my modesty nicely. Also a black jersey long sleeved T shirt with a cream lace sewn-on collar. Also a bag of pretty bracelets for my 3 year old granddaughter, a brand new swim nappy for 10 month old grandson, a USB key containing 10 volumes of Debbie Moore Designs for book folding (something I have wanted to have a bash at for ages). £10 spent in total.
Then in the Helen & Katharine House hospice shop in Rose Hill I bought this pretty Regatta waterproof hooded jacket for just £3:
@goldfinches : sorry the Giving Garage wasn't as good as it looked online. If your friend is still looking, they had an LG Blu Ray/DVD player in the Sobell House shop in Kidlington this morning for £24.99. On the floor under the table which is in front of you as you go in.

A trip to Otley today produced a cream Jaeger pure silk blouse with frilly cuffs for 99p, a full circle midi skirt in a navy and bottle green check, also 99p. Yesterday in the YMCA shop in Ripon I got a b/n Daks, silk & linen mix jacket in a cream check with navy and tan lines in the check. It looks rather boxy in the pic but is actually quite a curvy fit. Plan on wearing it either with dark navy jeans or tan or beige fitted trousers Dare not say what I paid for it but the retail price is £295🫢

@C_J - I'd never heard of book folding before so had a quick goggle and it looks lovely so I'm looking forward to seeing photos of your efforts. I also thought the flowery waterproof was lovely and am very impressed at the swim nappy and beach cover ups.
Thankyou so much for the Blu Ray/DVD Player spot; I tried to ring my friend as soon as I'd read your post early this afternoon but her phone wasn't switched on so I decided to write down the details along with the address, telephone number and opening hours of the shop on a piece of paper to give to her tomorrow afternoon and then it's up to her!
@Miró - I do hope Daphne and family are still well and that your garden isn't being totally ruined by their visits. I love the silk blouse and the jacket too, really stylish and the blouse is crying out for a statement necklace so I hope the GC has good taste and gets the hint."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

Silk blouse and jacket both stunning and I suspect bargains compared to new. Lovely items. Great finds.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!9 -

Not seen Daphne and family for a couple of days...hoping she has established herself on a local farm pond now.13 -
The British Heart Foundation had some new sunhats in colourful, thick cotton, in their shop, at £6. I bought one each for DH and DD, and found a cotton, wide brimmed, ventilated one, still with tags, for myself at £3.50. I have given it a good wash.

Great finds!
I havent been into town for a little bit but Im itching to get back out and have a mooch around the charity shops again. There is a big BHF opened near my husbands work so I might have to go over there and have a look.
Miro - I love the shirt and the skirt. So pretty! and the little ducklings look so sweet. Also love the name suggestions.
I am going to look into a car boot sale and see if there are any near us. They seem to be few and far between. I know there is one near my sister that she frequents a fair bit and Id like to go and have a look at. Its where she saw the giant gnomes so I am still on the hunt for them for my MIL christmasTime to find me again9 -
I went into St Vincent's in Westcliff today as I had the dentist and I found two black dresses in there. I might wear one of the dresses to the Oasis concerts as we bought very expensive tickets! One dress was F&F and one was Wallis. I saw a jewellery box too that I bought.2025 GOALS
