@C_J such a great story! And @Miró I LOVE the bag; well jel, as the youth say.
Mini haul for me today. A Sweaty Betty running top (£2.99, Oxfam) but will sell on Vinted as too small for me and SB sells well.
A lovely Phase Eight bat-wing top in hot pink. £10.99, a price I baulked at but I still couldn't resist.
A blue silk top from Bitte Kai Rand. Also £2.99. Absolutely gorgeous and I rarely find their stuff as it is PRICEY. https://www.bittekairand.com/en/9 -

over the pond until the other day. 2 LPs bought for a total of $20 (so about £12) Zero Mostel in the stage soundtrack of Fiddler on the Roof and another titled King Oliver (nope, no idea) which features a youngster known a Lou Armstrong. Looking forward to hearing that. Odd that while it's a English label most of the liner notes are in French. Well maybe not that odd as it was purchased in Canada.
And same old, same old. Woman walks into a second hand shop (mighty pricey one too) and OH picks up a scarf for her. Silk, brown and orange leafy display, long and slim more like a tie rather than something conventional. Happy to have it though at $12 (plus tax, I do hate that). Still only about £7 so that's ok.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. had never heard of Bitte Kai Rand but a quick look at their website and some lovely stuff. What a great find!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!6 -

I found a couple of tops yesterday, a Taylor Swift Eras one that I will wear in bed and a Killers one that I gave my husband. I also found quite a nice dress. I forget the brand. I hadn't heard of it before.6 -

Coming out of lurkdom to say i thought of you all this morning whilst reading an article about this summers 'IN' look. Apparantly we should be wearing calf length slip skirts that look like something my gran used to buy from M&S to wear under her actual skirt with loafers and white ankle socks. It looked ridiculous, I showed a picture to my 22 year old daughter who agreed it was an awful look. I'm sticking to my dresses and white trainers!!10

I assume that they advertised suitable non-VPL undies to wear under those skirts.
It does sound like quite the look, did the ankle socks come replete with bows I wonder.
Most important question, did the skirt have pockets?7 -
Not the exact picture i saw from this morning but a very similar one, not a look i will be going for10 -
I think I will avoid that look too!🤣2025 GOALS
