Not the exact picture i saw from this morning but a very similar one, not a look i will be going for
My trip to Otley this week, (not in fancy dress), was not very fruitful til I got to my last stop, Barnardo’s, where I found a red, plain, fitted dress by ‘Pure’. Love this make, such good quality. Fully lined, even the sleeves, and the seams instead of being overlocked are bound in satin binding. It was even reduced from £8 to £6.3 -

Isn't the usual name for a worker clearly in suspenders "hussy"? Or am I thinking of the wrong trade? [and what will the forum profanity filter make of that?]5

@Brie, Amazon have it, now, 46% off at £40.80. Twine a student with an NUS card or Anyone with an Amazon discount into a half Nelson & ply charm, blackmail, "get ready for Christmas!", "I know you didn't meant to forget <insert unobserved festival here>, BUT", or whatever bribery commends itself and get the reference book you were made to produce the next edition of? After all my protestations about no charity shopping, I picked up two murder mysteries The American Agent by Jacqueline Winspear and Death goes on Skies by Nancy Spain. One of which will be going with me to the beach later and my picnic dinner3

I can't even manage a quote successfully, d'oh, but I recalled the book & out of curiosity (cause of death heart attack as only exercise taken leaping to concussions). Thankyou for routing it on rightly, @Floss!
And now I wonder if I do right to lead @Brie towards reference on scarves, but if we're collectively going to have a Serious Habit, we may as well be well informed on it.
As for your afternoon's reading @MrsCatz, I too would have succumbed to the siren lure of a nice murder, and seconds... I'm convinced my having an active fantasy life has prolonged the actual lives of various relatives, siblings & colleagues. (Frankly I'm amazed there aren't more deaths at weddings - so many opportunities for people to be hazy about whom they saw when, for a range of reasons. Still, Christmas is far more Traditional.)7 -
