DfV - I think that is why I read a lot of mysteries too - to get out the frustrations of life without harming someone else.5

@amj714 Thank you, I am looking forward to reading it.
@DigForVictory I am sure I saw a murderous wedding guest in an episode of Midsummer murders. you are not a script writer by any chance?I do have a look in the DVD section as sometimes they have some excellent box sets for 20p which I can watch and return. The other day a friends mum managed to buy the complete Sharpe series for about £6. She must have taken a large bag for life as it’s a large set6 -
Church summer fair yesterday, I bought a pristine copy of this for £1. It will go to my BIL next, and then to their community library. Tea and gorgeous homemade cake for two £5.9

I left my cardigan at the O2 the other night when I saw Pulp. I have worn that black cardigan to so many gigs over the years and I didn't bring anything else warm with me. We went to Brighton the next day so I looked in a charity shop and found a white denim jacket. It is a Gap one and quite nice although I noticed there are yellow stains around the inside cuffs. I'm going to have to look how to get rid of the stains when I get home tomorrow.7

@Wednesday2000 sorry to hear that, its very annoying when that happens. Hopefully your new jacket will work well.
@Nelliegrace nice find will add to my reading
@Miró I whole heartedly support you. All you need now is a big scarf and you can go anywhere9 -
Had a little day out to Durham on Thursday where I picked up:
M and S sleeveless Dress £7 it looks like denim but it’s actually lighter cotton. White New Look top with lacy short puff sleeves £1
BNWT Dopper drink bottle £2.
Also when I was dropping off a load of stuff at local hospice shop I picked up a pair of Fat Face flared jeans ( short length so no having to take up £5
And a gold and turquoise striped ring £2
Took loads of CDs and cassette tapes to Oxfam too.

@Potternerd
that little lacy top will go lovely under that not denim dress. I used to wear that sort of thing to school - there were called jumpers where I lived.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. edited to add: oh it's for the red dress isn't it? Well I do have a couple of HUGE scarves that I don't think I will want for myself that might fit the colour scheme. red and orange perhaps??? Add a ridiculously large colourful hat and you'd be all the business!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
