I have a 1lb loss to record for my first weigh-in of the year. It has slowed down a lot since I started in July, but I am still pleased it’s moving in the right direction 😊8

Morning all, and well done on those losses.
Food today
Greek yoghurt and banana
Calvolo nero and bacon with pasta
Snacks - a sml slice of swiss roll, grapes and satusmas
Snow still hanging around here at the moment and feeling like some HM soup is needed for tomorrow. Going to try a parsnip and apple soup recipe from the recipe collection but DH does all the cooking at the mo and he's decorating the stairs at present so we'll have to see if that comes off.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

So…I put a couple of lb on over Xmas but now I’m back to work I’m snacking, a lot… weight has gone up this morning and also injured my foot, which is annoying. Not going to let this get me down though, I’m going to do weight training until foot eases (plantar so not dangerous to continue with arm workouts today)8

I’m back on board, fell off part way through the 4th quarter.Please add me Brambling, ever the optimistic I’ll aim for 14lbs this quarter.I’m lacking the enthusiasm I had at the start of last year though my new scales arrived this morning and I’m ridiculously excited to use them which is unexpected so hopefully they’ll get my momentum going.I’m dithering over a Wednesday or Friday weigh day 🤔 I’m starting slowly and not going full throttle straight away so it shouldn’t be too much of a shock to the system. Hello everybody, thought I would write a midweek update as much for myself as anything.
Not really doing too well so I will be content with any loss this week, as a rebound from my Xmas/NY weigh in I really should be less.
My personal life has many problems, some I can do something about, some I can't.
And anything negative usually results in me overeating, I don't derive that much pleasure from it either.
I tell myself regularly 'being overweight and feeling like rubbish won't help anybody' (the problems are all related to loved ones' health) but that only lasts so long with me.
Hopefully I can do a little better before I weigh in on Fri or Sat.9 -

Just thought I'd drop you a reply as your post resonated with me. A loved one of mine had horrendous health issues last two years and like you I just ate rubbish. Sometimes, well most times because there was no time between work, family life, hospital visits and caring. Sometimes because it felt like eating was the only way to sort of feel better. As a result I'm heavier than I've ever been and uncomfortable in my body. So I'm trying this year to adopt the belief 'I deserve to be looked after too,' hoping that it'll help me put myself, not exactly first, but not bottom of the heap as I've done for the last two years. Just sending you positive vibes and hoping that all of us on this thread are successful with our weight loss xWeight loss goal 6/7lbs for first quarter
