Well that was a rubbish start +1lb.
I know I've had 2 big dinners over the weekend but I did a couple of days of exercise, well walks, ate pretty well and doubled my fluid as been drinking a glass of water with each cup of tea.

Charlies_tribe mine is an even worse rubbish start, I put on 4lbs! Two colds back to back and not fancying meals for a week has led to eating erratically. Nevermind, I'm feeling better now and can meal plan again.
Food today
Yoghurt and bananas
Cauliflower cheese
Snacks - a couple of potted cheese and crackers with satsumas and grapes.

Good morning and a Happy New Year to you all.
I took two weeks off counting the calories over Christmas and New Year. And I won't lie I've enjoyed every mouth full.
Got weighed this morning. And yes I've gained a few pounds, but I'm starting this year weighing 3 stones and 2 lbs lighter than I started 2024. So thank you all for your support along the way and a BIG thank you to Brambling for running the thread 😘
New Year. New starting point. Please put me down for - 10 lbs this quarter Brambling.
I've not caught up with the thread yet but will do so this week. Looking forward to this year's journey with you all.

Can I join in please. I'm going at it this month, as I put on a whole 7lbs in 6 weeks from mid November to end December - completely out of control
I am aiming to lose 12lbs.
I can report in my first weigh in of the year for week 1 today as -5lbs. I have signed up to the grocery challenge and have been on it with the meal prep, plus had a great week exercise wise!

Well, I weighed myself this morning and I came in at 12st 12lbs! I need to lose 2st 4lbs so hoping for 10lbs in the first quarter.
I'm going to start meal planning and use as much from stores as possible so hopefully saving lbs and £'s too - win, win.
There was lots of cheese left after Christmas so I've portioned that up and put in the freezer so that's taken a lot of the temptation away as I love cheese.
Hope everyone has a good week, wish me luck8 -
Welcome EcoIntent and what a great start 👏
Nice to see you back Roundtuit and that's a great loss for last year
Charlies_tribe line drawn under the week and start again. I think we are all shaking off Christmas and new habits.

STS this week. I've succumbed to the cough/cold that's doing the rounds. No energy or motivation to do anything apart from lie down and watch tv 😂! And eat beige/yellow food.
I want to do a four week workout plan and get back running, but that's going to have to wait until I've recovered.7 -
Take care of that cough before doing too much pixie there are a lot of nasty virus doing the rounds, my eldest sister was in hospital a few days between Xmas and NY due to breathing isssues after a virus and said the hospital was fit to burstingLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin7

First weigh in and I'm down 3lbs
Drs told me yesterday that I have high cholesterol (my mum has the inherited type so it was likely at some point) but my only other risk factor is being overweight. I'm a 35yo vegan who doesn't smoke or really drink. I've slacked with my exercise over the last 6 months and mostly survived on sugar, so that definitely hasn't helped.
Just arrived at the gym and have my meals all sorted for today. I've got overnight oats with baked apple & red lentil soup with wholemeal pitta packed in my car, and a pasta bake with lots of salad planned for tea.
