@cheerfulness4 hope your cough goes soon. Ours has been a week so far, and not feeling any better yet. Still full of it and feeling exhausted :-( Haven't been out the house since Monday, although we have been working. It's lovely outside too!
Aiming for a very lazy weekend to try and recharge now. We were going away but decided to stay home.
Foodwise - marmite toast plus an orange for breakfast most days. Cheese and biscuits and an apple for lunch (🎄🧀 to use up! Moneysaving!) Minimal effort evening meal and tinned fruit for dessert to try and get something healthy into us 😂🤞. I've also been drinking over 2ltrs squash/fizzy water per day to try and keep hydrated. No booze, tempting though the rum is for medicinal purposes. Hopefully lost some weight, but I haven't been moving much so probably the energy eaten is more than expended :-(

First week, first pound off, could have waited till tomorrow to weigh myself but felt the last couple of days have been my best so far.
Hoping for another pound if not two next week.5 -

WI this morning showed -3lbs which means I've nearly shed the 3.5lbs I gained over Christmas, birthdays & NY.

Sorry you missed you weekend away, Pixie. It'll soon be spring and these awful colds will be forgotten.
DH went beyond the call of duty today and made me a batch of oat pancakes for my breakfast with yoghurt (which he also made in the Easiyo gadget thing) and prunes. It was partly his fault because he thought he'd be super frugal and bought me the cheapest, sloppiest cottage cheese instead of my beloved Longley Farm one when I had it in my jacket potatoes the other day!
Cottage cheese and Oat pancakes sounded pretty disgusting but were really good. Here's the recipe if you're in the same dilemma with yucky cottage cheese.
Food today:
Oat pancakes with manuka honey yoghurt and 1/4 tin of prunes
Cheesy bacon bubble and squeak with an egg
Snacks - sml slice of HM fruit cake (DH is on fire this week with cooking!) Apple, Satsumas
DH has had his nine days holidays from work now and is back in tonight so food won't be as easy to plan until he's off again for another five days from Thursday morning. I really need to get my exercises underway so I can try to help him more but standing is tricky with my bones at present.
Keep warm everyone!

Thanks for the recipe cheerfulness I have some FF cottage cheese in the fridge so I may try it. Some one gave me a soup recipe I must try and find which was tin tomatoes, cottage cheese and roast peppers blended with basil (I think)Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin4

Brambling- we just made a half quantity as we didn't have enough cottage cheese but it was easy to scale down. I've found them really filling. So much so that I'm fearing for my weigh in tomorrow as I think my portion sizes have been on the hefty side this week and I definitely didn't need cake every day!
Food today:
Oat pancakes with honey yoghurt and prunes
Sweet and sour chicken and rice
Snacks - satsumas and maybe a tiny slice of fruit cake (its Sunday after all)

Brambling I’ve stayed the same I had a good loss my first week but it hasn’t helped I’ve been stuck in the house all week because of the snow and ice roll on the promised thaw then I can get out and about but at least it’s not a gain4
