well, lost 1 and a half Ibs this week. Although Im back at work tomorrow so will def find it harder going then.
But thats nearly all my christmas weight gain gone, only another half Ib to go!
Did really good with my exercise this week, lots of weight training, pilates, cardio and managed a couple of runs. Also did well over 10, 000steps on all but one day (actually managed 18,000 once!).
Only had one trip up on the diet front too but I have learned my lesson....dont buy Graze oat bites because you will eat the entire packet!
I think the key with snacks is that they are tasty but not too tasty!LOL8 -

I have spent the afternoon completed some online training for a volunteering role and TBH have demolished a pack of chocolate biscuits left from ChristmasI wouldn't have minded if i had really enjoyed them but didn't really but unfortunately i sat with the laptop and a open packet and ate without really paying attention, just as well there is sea bass for tea I may just have with green veg and skip the new potatoes

Good morning. Just popping in with a surprise -1LB.
I have really struggled again this week. I've been so cold and I've snacked on 'warm things' tinned soup, rice pudding, jam on toast.... and because of that I sort of gave in and had a few bars of chocolate and a packet of biscuits too.

I'm relieved to report a loss too this week. 3.5lbs off.I did stick exactly to my plan but DH was dishing up big portions and saying just eat what you want. Well, that doesn't work for me because I want it all! It is a real struggle to leave food on my plate. I hate waste but I've tried to do it. Much better to serve up smaller portions, though.
Food today:
Half an avocado on toast
Toad in the hole, swede/carrot mash, brussels, couple of boiled potatoes and gravy
Snacks - tiny slice of fruit cakesatsumas
So after a gentle reminder to DH I'm now back on my smaller dinner plates today and he understands that a 'tiny' piece of cake is not a big wedge. Lets hope that helps my weight loss this week.APRIL GROCERY CHALLENGE £38.86/ £250

Morning everyone.
Well I did my 1st weigh in this morning and and came in at 12st 7lbs so that's a loss of 5lbs! Just the initial kick start I needed but I'm not expecting that every weekWe've got rid of all the Christmas temptations and I've stuck to my meal plan below which has all come from stores or freezer. I do need to stock up on milk and fruit now though. Good luck everyone, Molly

Good morning,
I'm half way through my week now and I'm trying to achieve healthy eating as well as weight loss. It's hard though because the kitchen is so cold there's no pleasure being in there just now. I've come up with the idea of putting the lights on every time that I go in there even in the day to make it seem like a brighter and more cheerful place to be. It's north facing so in the summer it's a lovely and cool. you can't have it all ways 🤣
@catz4m8z I agree with you about snacks. Mine usually have to be individually wrapped too so that I only have one of a thing not all of them.5 -
I am currently STS. Which in itself is miracle as I have been ill and works been busy so been comfort eating and inactive4
