Thank you Brambling I'm hoping it's an opportunity to find something I enjoy more, my dd has sorted out my cv (the last one I had I did on a typewriter 😂)

welcime back Candii sorry for the loss of your dog, losing pets is so hard
Mollina I think you reach the stage when you don't notice the lack of sugar any more and then you can't drink it with sugar in 🙂 my father gave it up when I was about 10 and decided we were all giving it up as well no choice including my mum!! I can now smell if someone has put sugar in my tea before tasting
i hope your DGS has recovered Charlie_TribeI'm trying to be really good this week lots of vegetables and protein, no bread and trying to keep other carbs to a minimum. I'm also winning on the no snacks after dinner using the 80-20 rule 🙂Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin8 -

Morning all.
Food today:
1x crumpet topped with Raspberry & lemon greek yoghurt and raspberries
HM Lentil and Bacon soup with bread (large bowl)
Snacks - Slice HM lemon cake, fruit.
Feeling whacked today as had a bad night and am exhausted. Don't feel very hungry so will have an easy lunch of soup and leave the HM pizza for DH and DS.
Mollina, I too found that it wasn't too long after quitting sugar in hot drinks that it became the norm. Then as Brambling said you can smell it in drinks and it makes you shudder to drink it. Keep persevering.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

@Brambling. STS for me this week please. At least it hasn't gone back up. I didn't get to go on the planned walk last Saturday due to not feeling well but did manage a shorter one on Sunday. Now about to make healthy vegetable , chorizo and lentil soup.8

Hi 0.5lb off for me. I know what you mean @Pauper1 I've been really good (went back and checked 6 reducing days and 1 keep the same days so no big blow outs) and all I've lost is half a pound. So frustrating 😫
Good luck today everyone.Weight loss goal 6/7lbs for first quarter

Hello
Weighday -1lb please Brambling.I’m pleased to be off the starting line, it’s been a struggle. I’m back fully on plan since Monday. Had a dreadful headache yesterday, it’s not too bad today so hopefully I’m over the worst of it.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

2nd quarter - 6lbs 🥈3rd quarter -
4th quarter -7 -
Well done on those losses!
Food today:
1x crumpet topped with lemon & raspberry yoghurt and blueberries
Jacket potato filled with Chickpea and apricot tagine (Tesco tinned £1.80)
Snacks - Fruit
Not sure about the tagine but thought I'd share it with DS who likes Moroccan style food, me not so much.
Chair exercises day again. Trying to aim for Mon, Wed and Fridays. Body doesn't always agree but despite that I shall attempt three exercise days a week even if I have to shift them round.
Craving boiled eggs and fingers so might have to work those into the food plan within the next couple of days. Do you also find that when you're eating less you get these really strong desires for a particular food? I always do but never happens when I'm not watching my weight.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250
