I don’t know if I am trying to talk myself into or out of going swimming tomorrow. If I book now, I won’t want to waste the cost, but if I get up in the morning and don’t fancy it, what to do? 🤣 It’s easier to go swimming when it’s warmer 😊7

WI earlier, lost another 1.5 - total now 4.5/7
@cheerfulness4 - I need to try crumpet with yog, honey & fruit - sounds 😋😋The crumpet idea came from the Hairy Bikers weight loss cook book. I saw the photo of theirs and knew that was for me!
Well, yesterdays snacks didn't go as planned. Instead of my stilton and celery I has 2 mince pies and 100g of tortilla chips! I should be ashamed but I'm not. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow and I've a long way to go on my weight loss journey so I'm being kind to myself.
Food today:
2x buttered crumpets. (we had 27 in the freezer thanks to DH's enthusiastic whoopsie hunting!)
Sweet and sour pork with rice
Snacks - stilton and celery, fruit
AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

katejo - I think they do for different numbers but I can't remember as it was a library book. It was a good book though so worth having a gander.

After receiving worrying news about my 90 year old Pops, yesterday, I walked down to the village Co-op, bought a load of carp, and ate it. Can't even say I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the sandwich because I was actually hungry, but the crisps, buns, and chocolate overload were superfluous.
Done now. Can't undo. Better news about Pops received last night - not out of the woods yet but not prepare yourself for the worst. So I too will be kind to myself as I continue my weight loss journey.
Thank you again

Made some low fat banana muffins this morning, and some wholemeal flatbreads to have with soup for lunch.
Dog walk completed, and still aching from the home workout I did yesterday. I much prefer going to the gym but it was obviously effective!
Going to make up a pasta salad to take to work tomorrow in a bit, using up a load of leftovers.Make £2025 in 2025 #18 - £569.66/£2025

Food today:
2x buttered crumpets
Chicken schnitzel filled with soft cheese, steamed quinoa with mixed beans, gherkins
snacks - 2 fingers mint kit kat, apples, tinned pineapple
Tomorrow I'm having a chinese with part of the money mum gave us for our anniversary recently so DH gets a break from cooking. That being the case I'm going to ask him to make some HM bacon and lentil soup because this weather is calling for it. I love the seasons but I'm done with winter now and craving spring bulbs and lighter nights.
Chair exercises definitely tomorrow. No excuses! You lot are all going to gyms and doing long walks so I have been inspired to do what I can do, too.
