Pixie_Cosmo said:@Bella_Budget that does sound interesting! I have friends who have done well on the 5:2 diet but I don't know if that would suit me - I get hungry/hangry!! I am tempted to try it.
@Gingerlily yep, my partner gave up chocolate and dropped 1/2 stone within a month! Gutting! I think I struggle to keep going - it takes so long after the initial weight loss and so much effort. 800 cals a day is hardly anything to eat :-( oh well.7 -
Some lovely weigh ins again 👏👏 I'm happy with a 2lb loss as well 🙂
I found SW worked for me a few years ago when I lost 4 stone and then I lost my mum, had surgery and was made redundant in 5 months and it all went out the window and I then gained 5 stonesince then I've been faffing. I do kind of follow it now as I don't want to count calories. My sister has lost weight with not eating after dinner I think she goes 12 hours between dinners d breakfast which I should probably try as that is when I pick!

Morning All
I'm weighing in for the last 2 weeks at a loss of -6lb.
I know the first week is always a bit of a whoosh, but I am happy with that. I tried intermittent fasting combined with calorie counting and did find it useful for evening snacking, but now I'm happy just calorie counting.
Not sure how well I'll do the next few weeks as I think I will be out of a job soon, as my company are trying to performance management me out. So I'm very stressed and worried about finding a new job at my age (I've been in this one 27 years)'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. Hurray! A 1lb loss, which I'm happy with. Feeling more energetic and recovering from my neverending cold now. Hopefully I can get back to it now.6

Well done, Pixie.
Food today:
1 crumpet topped with honey yoghurt and peaches
Roast chicken, roasties, parsnips, swede/carrot mash, brussels, cauli, stuffing and gravy
snacks- small piece of stilton with celery and a couple of crackers, fruit.
DH cooking a big roast dinner as mum visiting and she rarely cooks at 92 so he's making a fuss of her.
Not started my chair exercises again yet but have noticed a tiny difference already in my ease of mobility with the small amount I've already lost. Can't wait for the first stone to be gone.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250
