Limped through to payday tomorrow finishing with a NSD day today. Much welcomed after a very very spendy week and month.
Looking for some positives over the last month (need those positive waves!!) I still have no regrets paying the car insurance in full for the year and despite the unexpected dentist bill, the debt went down and nothing was added to it. Ive managed to get the work expenses system up and running again and even if its only a small amount I can claim, something is always better than nothing!
Tonight's song is by my nicknames namesake - still feels like a mountain to climb at times but one thing I've learnt this month is that I am more resilient than I was before I started my diary. 1/8th of the way to the top! Next month let's see a 33k number on my signature ..........Nov/Dec 24 £39 564

With each battle you win your resilience grows, no more debt was gained through the month and thats a win! Keep going3

Been awol for a few days partly as its been very busy and partly as I've been struck down covid (I know! How very 2020 of me!!)
I completed the wedding mission yesterday so just waiting for the payment to come through. I was relatively pleased with my playing although I am hypercritical and berate myself if it's anything less than perfect. Fortunately i didn't start to feel unwell til last night, and then spent most of today lying in bed 😑 Feeling a bit better now and managed to get my temperature down so hopefully over the worst of it.
I did order some bits from Amaz@n that I held off buying before payday. Apparently we get our payrise in next month's pay with the backdated pay - depending how much it is I shall top up the Christmas fund and pay off my phone handset balance (down to £77 now so likely achievable). Bank balance is looking lovely but that's because nothing has gone out yet 🤣 If only it stayed that way ......Nov/Dec 24 £39 564

If there's any chance you can take to rest and recover than you think you need, please do. I did not, just got on with all the stuff I felt I had to do, and still dealing with stupid long covid 4 years later
I do hope you're feeling much better soon though, and I hope your backpay is fat and juicy!

Payday is such a lovely day isn't it to know we've got the ability to get a bit closer to our end goals and seeing the numbers ticking down (except when the go up, thanks car)
