@Deni_debt-free_dreamer - The lovely part of Canada where my relatives live (about 500 of them!) Great-uncle went up to Tappan near Kamloops. I've been up there for several family reunions. Trying to go again.13

Hi all, busy couple of days here 😁. Yesterday was my birthday and I went out for lunch with OH and ln who insisted she wanted to take me out 😁. So we went to the local national trust property and after we had eaten we went for a short walk, OH was having knee problems again so not far but we walked around the apple orchard and did some scrumping so came home with a fair amount 😁. I know they don't mind as it was apple day on Sunday. They say to please leave them on the tree until apple day when they organise events and invite people to pick what they want 😁. After apple day it's just help yourself 😁. I was spoiled rotten with gifts and 2 lots of flowers so lots of wrapping paper and a cardboard box etc into the recycling, 3 LDFPA from the line. Various text messages answered and a phone call to my Dniece and Dnephew.
Today I have been at OH's house to supervise the installation of a new shower. While I was there I dealt with a union thing and had another phone call with Dniece and Dnephew. Update on my Dsis is that she is now on intravenous anti biotic as she has suspected hospital induced pneumonia as she has been in bed for 2 weeks. Apparently a lovely nurse has taken charge and has sorted out dsis's bed insisting that she sit up properly. Her bp seems to be better and they said she looked a lot bettet. They had a conversation with the nurse and the plan seems to be to get her out of bed soon and start her physio work to get her onto crutches 👃. I also decluttered all the blown rubbish from the front garden and then took all the rubbish to the tip 😁. After tea tonight I will be watching the footy on tv and a bit of crochet.
Right time to eat,
Hugs to everyone who would like one
I will update numbers later
Take care everyone14 -
Glad to hear you had a good birthday, Liverpool_Anne. Sounds great to me. Love the idea of collecting the apples to take home - thinking of blackberry and apple crumble - my favorite. I kept trying it everywhere I went in the UK. Still liked the one I got in the Dickens restaurant near Paddington station the best. I really miss it here - have to make my own. Haven't found anyplace else making it!12

Belated Happy Birthday @Liverpool_Anne.Today was glorious, blue skies and quite warm. Sadly I didn’t do the washing as, every time I went up for it, I came downstairs with something else!Laptop is done, sorted and finished as is external HD. Depending on whether I actually manage to get the washing basket near the machine, I would like to use some of tomorrow going through emails. I know there’s a lot of old tat that needs going.I filled another two bags with compost today, I think one more will do it. Then just the membrane to be picked up, rolled and into a bag and the cardboard underneath for recycling. I did spray weed killer today as we have huge gaps between the slabs and it looks awful. Filling the gaps is on the list.Dinner was last of yesterdays spag Bol. Baked some rolls today and boiled a gammon for DH from freezer.Have a good evening all. night night, sleep tight xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Goodness it’s been a long time since I popped in. I have had a couple of holidays which were nice. Last week was hard. I had a foreign van over take me from behind when I was indicating and signalling right. After the impact he only tried to drive away. I was so cross I followed in hot pursuit hooting my horn. He thankfully stopped but refused to give me his insurance details and kept saying there was nothing wrong with my car. He put his boss on who also wouldn’t give details. I was lucky as I had 3 witnesses and one called the police as he was aggressive. They got details off him remains to be seen if he is insured. Kept saying my English not good! Another man has dash cam footage. I was so lucky.
